Gerty is honestly my favorite character in Moon, he's a machine I know, but as far as the story goes, he's so human and understanding in how he handles Sam's situation. It's very moving, to me at least.

Yeah I could imagine if this happened to someone it would drive them insane... :( I mean if you were a clone and your body just starts to fail and you thought you were normal but it was all lies, you wake on the moon, die on the moon "all alone..." and you're not who you thought you were....sad........ well Gerty was good :/
no one can comprehend how powerful this specific movie scene and how tragic untill you watch the film from the very begining. i should know cause i get tears of empathy when ever it leads to this scene and just watching this scene alone couldnt bring it up. watch the movie!
that scene is just so touchy.. i saw this movie without knowing what it was about and without seeing a trailer or video first. I felt so bad for him=( And it really got me to think alot about life.. no im taking piano classes just to learn this song. memories by clint mansell. =) Best movie i have seen!
you wouldn't think that seeing :'( would make you so sad, but this scene does it. God I love this movie.
