Man, i just don't see a team breaking through and winning 70 games in my opinion. You really have to break it down to think about it, to lose 12 games in a season, you can only lose 2 games per month for 6 months, i mean think about that, hell the best teams lose 2-3 or sometimes 4 games in a row. The Bulls only lost 2 in a row once all season, had the Bulls not lost 3 of their last 4 games to close out that following '96-'97 season they would have won 70 games in back to back seasons.

and if anybody says there wasnt enough competition that year well the sonics won 64 and the magic won 60 games, the spurs won 59 and the jazz 55, alot of great teams that year but the bulls were just too good
