Hey TheLureTour, your video was great but i have a question. I fish in a pretty murkey lake for bass all the time. And dont get me wrong i catch em' there but the only thing i can catch them on is soft plastics. And thats pretty fun but i want to try other methods such as cranks and spinners but they just dont bite. Do you have ANY recomendation towards what color how to fish and where to fish, that would help alot. Thanks. :)
@junglemighty3 You might try a lipless crank like the red eye shad, a spinnerbait with a lot of vibration, or maybe even a topwater popper to get the bass to take a look. I would look to areas where they can hide. What kind of cover do they have? Try black, chartreuse, or a combination of the two.
@jnmars1 it is in fact a way to put a plastic worm on a hook. It's called a wacky rig, look it up. It adds great action to a worm like the yum dinger or a senko.
@C0LEKING What? yamamoto senkos rock. Most colors of any soft baits out there. Their only down-point? The price.. expensive. (though to be fair, the best soft baits you'll ever use are your own hand-pours.)
OMG dude...you are so dead on with these. I used these in Lake George a few years ago and caught a lot of bass. I'm going back this weekend with bags of these.
@hondarider9494 I have some of the more expensive spinnerbaits, and they don't catch any more fish than the generic ones. Get the cheapest double willow leaf chartreuse spinnerbait that the store has (get a couple if you have pike in your area) and hit the weedbeds.
If you're getting hits but not connecting, add a trailer hook, or cast back to the same spot with a Yum Dinger and they'll eat that.
@TheLureTour Ohhh. Ok it means there are two blades on the spinnerbait. But ill hafta ask what the willow leaf thing is all about. Thanx. But what brand would you suggest? Because I'm a guy that likes the expensive stuff.
@ps3265 that is where i buy mine and these are the best i have ever used when it comes to worms.... i caught a 4lb bass on it right off the bat, i strongly recommend them!!!
I have never seen much difference between senkos and dingers i would perfer dinger only for money wise and to have have with people who dont no how to fish.

@TheLureTour Lol whats a double willow leaf?
hondarider9494 6 months ago
@hondarider9494 The type of blade on the spinnerbait. Ask a salesman at the store to show you, and they should be able to help you out.
