I used to drink and drive but I don't anymore. I thank god everyday that I did not seriously harm or even kill someone. This video really should wake a lot people up.
My 15 year old cousin died in a crash similar to this. Him and the driver were both killed instantly, his dad lived, but he's alone now. It effected my family greatly.
In my opinion, the drunk driver should have died, she deserves it. And she's not even getting that heavy of a sentence.
15-25 years? I've seen stiffer sentences from armed robberies, even w/ no one hurt. drunk drivers who kill are murderers. it's no accident- they choose to drive drunk. kill 2 people, whether from a drunk driving crash or shooting then with an AK-47, get 2 life terms- simple as that!
We need to fight for tougher DWI and DUI laws! There are too many loopholes letting these people get away with murder! My brother was killed five years ago by a drunk driver and due to the lenient loopholes, the guy responsible continues to drive today, putting everyone in his path in harm's way and let me add he received NO JAIL TIME! the dont get tense cause they dont know whats about to happen...the people that see was is going to happen however have no choice its natural to tense up...
