@MsCarowinds It's not scary at all don't be worried :). I'm gonna admit I'm only 9 years old and I went on this like 2 months ago. At the beginning it just goes fast as hell. And when you go up there's a lot of G-FORCES. But yeah. Fun as heck. I think you should go on :D.

If anything makes this ride worth it (I didn't like it that much) it's the cool view at night.

i went on kingda ka 21 times on sunday it was awesome i went on it 14 times during the day and 7 after dark . i also went on nitro 16 times bizzaro ten times, superman only twice, batman, again only twice, and el toro only four times and rolling thunder once because one really starts to hate inertia on that ride

This ride is awesome but way too short. I stood on a 90 minute line for a 30 second ride AND I had to put up with those stupid Jersey drivers both down and back. They charge outrageous prices for food and parking. I'll probably never go back to Great Adventure.  I got to go on 9 rides the entire day because of the lines. And I was there from noon until 1030PM.

It was closed in the 2009 season bc it was hit by lightning. I went in june last year and it was operating on/off. I ended up getting to ride it but we were the last ride bc it stopped mid-launch on us. But then, after replacing and fixing parts in the hydraulic room, it operated for the rest o the 2009 season. So far, 2010, it is operating fine.
