Tried making one with a pian with a Seapo head and another with a Seapo body. It didn't work.

@NiGHTS4life Make sure you use a different maren for each mepian. You cannot use a Seapo for both of them. You will also need some luck as the first egg will not always be a Superpian egg. Good luck :)

@chelsbelle321 You need to breed two different mepians, each with a single trait and each from a different nightmaren. For example, one pian with mepian wings and one with a mepian head.

@unfortunatewitnessX Charlie? You mean Elliot (I guess we know him as two different things?)? And, you have to obtain the 60 dream drops scattered around - there are 30 for Will and 30 for Helen. Once you have them all, play as Will and then leap into the Fountain in the Dream Gate. Then, you can play as him. Hope this helps!

How do you get the Nightopians to breed

@Realathenightmaren2 They will breed on their own. Sometimes you can put a couple away from everyone else and they will have a greater chance of breeding with each other, but sometimes they will just run away from each other, so I usually just let them be.

@BPlayer64 Not sure if you know but to get mepians you need to do it in the chase missions. You do so by throwing a nightmaren into a nightopian. When they collide they will create an egg and when you hatch it you may get a mepian. Then you paraloop it to bring it into your My Dream. Hope that helps.

@Yamisorabakura Thanks. You need to start in the levels to collect single trait mepians and bring them into your My Dream. Once you have single trait mepians in your My Dream you need to let them breed and hope that you'll eventually get a Super Pian.

A single trait mepian means just one body part is nightmaren, like just the wings or just the head. Every other body part must be normal nightopian. The mepians that breed together should also use different body parts from different nightmaren.

I have 4 of the same 1 trait (full blooded) mepians. and they haven't made a King pian egg.

does it take a certain amount of time for them to make it? all they make is normal eggs.

You need to have two different mepians, each with a single trait and each from a different nightmaren. For example, one pian with mepian wings and one with a mepian head. Full blooded mepians have every single trait from a nightmaren, not just one, so you don't want to use those for a King Pian. Hope that helps.

i found 3 (one died and went away) nightmarens with traits form the sea-horse

To get Mepians (a mix between a nightmaren and nightopian) you have to get them in the Chase Missions by throwing or dashing a nightmaren into a nightopian. When they collide an egg will pop out and you might get a mepian. If you have nightmaren in your My Dream they will only harm your pians, they will not breed. Mepians will breed with nightopians though.

Ok i have a single trait Mepian which breeded off another one that had more traits. Meaning it was born that way. Do i need to have Two single traits breed? because i have 5 of them flying around..and i have um 76 nightopian flying around in there...dunno how i got that many but i do.

Yep, it's breeding single trait mepians. And a mepian is a nightopian with nightmaren body parts. If it only has one body part from a nightmaren then it is called single trait. Feel free to send me a message if you want to exchange codes and visit each other's My Dream.

Yep, what you've got is called a mepian, and they will have eggs with other mepians and regular nightopians. To get a KingPian you need to breed single trait mepians...described in more detail in the comments.

You have to get them in the chase missions. When you throw a nightmaren into a nightopian it will create an egg, and if you're lucky enough it will be a single trait mepian.

Yeah, that's the SuperPian or KingPian. It was in the original NiD too, and you get it by breeding 2 different single-trait mepians.

Nope, each mepian can only have 1 trait from a nightmaren, all of their other traits must be regular nightopian traits. And yes, there is still a bit of luck, but a lot of people that use wings and head seem to get it quickly.

I've never tried the chao system so I'm not sure, but I've heard on the NiGHTS forums that the chao system is better. The pians in My Dream are a lot of hassle because they die really quickly if you don't feed them and it's kinda hard to make the breeds that you want.

I've used both systems, and yeah, in my opinion, the Chao is better. Easier to care for, wont die so fast, and they reincarnate if treated right, easier to breed. The only backfires are you can only have 8 in a garden(and you only get 3 gardens), the garden stays the same no matter what, and evolving them(at least in SADX, since all you get are the Small animals. its easier in 2battle with those Chaos Drives)

I can't quite remember...it's either when you beat the game with all C ranks or higher, or when you collect all 60 dreamdrops.

Single-trait means a mepian with JUST a nightmaren Head or JUST nightmaren Wings...all other appendages are from a normal pian. You need to breed 2 single-trait mepians to get a SuperPian, but each mepian must have different traits, like 1 with just a head and 1 with just wings, and both have to be made from different nightmaren. I should also mention that it will take a long time to get a SuperPian...most of the eggs you breed will end up being normal mepians or pians...just because you breed 2 single-trait mepians doesn't mean you will get a SuperPian right away.

The weird looking nightopians are called mepians and you create them in the chase missions by throwing a nightmaren into a nightopian. When they collide they will make an egg and you can paraloop the egg or mepian to bring it into your My Dream. The big looking egg is the SuperPian and it is created in the My Dream world by breeding single-trait mepians.

Some spots are easier, like long flat sections because the nightmaren will roll along the ground and run into a nightopian. I like the second part of Aqua Garden along the beach, and the start of Pure Valley.

It's all about breeding single-trait mepians. Moonlighttrill and I seem to think that wings and heads are the best ones to breed, but you could probably get a superpian with different single-trait mepians. Also LOTS of patience!

Great vid man! I didn't know you had the FOOTAGE of it hatching. I think hatching depends on how long you push it. I literally turned my back and it plopped out. Then i pushed it a bit right after and it hatched. Wow yur my dream changed fast before I arrived. Also, thanks again for the mepians, helped me get my King Pian! Our Kings be cousins!
