SPOILER-ALERT-The book was good but it didn't really give much closure at the end. It didn't seem like she tried at all to stop her infidelities. It ends pretty much with her putting her ability to restrain her self from cheating in her husband's hands because he said "I believe we'll be fine." I think it would have been better if she said, "although I still have the desires, I made a conscience choice not to cheat anymore." But no.... after all of this, she still can't trust herself.

I thought this book was just a bunch of bullshit posturing. She enjoyed all the attention showered on her. She used and manipulated just as much as she herself was used. It's a classic story of relationships. It's the story of human greed, apathy and indifference.

Her whole point of writing this novel was the fact that you're USING your sex to try and fill this gaping hole of needing to feel loved. It's an addiction, no less different from any kind of substance abuse. Maybe not at first, but it WILL consume and destroy the person who doesn't take the initiative to help themselves. It's cliche, but true... you really need to love yourself first.

Guys go through similar kinds of things, like if I fool around wtih a girl too quickly she won't want me, same as what happens to Kerry so many times in her book.

The difference between guys and girls is - if we want sex we have to have to work, work, work, and strategize, strategize, strategize.

And then on top of that we also have to be strategic about getting a relationship.
