your crater is actually acurate because the bomb most likely airbursts over the target. maybe by 500 feet or 200 feet. the tsar bomb left a crater below even though it airbursted. but the damage in the game should have knocked all surrounding trees down and then maybe some of the guys around it would slowly lose health like they were being affected by radiation

It's a tactical nuke, not a strategic nuke. Tact nukes are in this game, if you want city busters, go play something else.

A strategic nuke in this game would kill you as well as the enemy, that wouldn't be very good in multiplayer, would it?

I believe you're thinking of the neutron bomb....emits severe neutron radiation which when it passes through water (life), slows down rapidly thus transferring its energy and heating up the organisms to the point of death. Tank armor does not protect you from this.
