  • =HMMMMMMM

=UNDDERSTOOODD=SAIGA IS DEEP AK47'S MODIFICATION DEVELOPED FOR FIRING 12GAUGE=AND HUNTING

    =ANALOGUES ARE JACKHAMMER AND SPAS15

  • @robotnikkkk Thats why you gotta buy one now. Alot of people are afraid they're going the way of the spas. If you think about it, this is one of very few (if any) semi auto shottys with a detachable mag. Probably do to it what they did to the spas

  • @robotnikkkk Basically it is an AKM modified to be chambered in 12 Gauge, yes. It's not the best choice for most hunting but it works and the detachable mag is convenient.

  • RUSSIAN Kalashnikov-MADE IN RUSSIA !!!!! FOREVER!!

Do not buy Bulgarian (Arsenal), Romanian and Chinese fakes!!

This only Kalashnikov RUSSIAN FACTORY IZHMASHSH

  • it looks sweet, i would kill for a beta c style mag for it though something about double drums makes me excited :)

  • Not a bad rig, but honestly have to say I like mine better... will have to try to get something up with it

  • why would you put a bi pod on a shotgun

  • @hate1diesel - it doesn't have a bipod.

  • @hate1diesel thats senceless

  • @hate1diesel lmao what the hell are you looking at? from what i see there is a sling?

  • You should move the trigger gaurd up and cut the barrel to16 inches and re-thread it with one of those nasty looking muzzle brakes.

  • @TheAk47Enthusiast - The minimum length for a shotgun is 18 inches. My S12 has been modified since this video. it has the same stock which works great with the optics, and thats why I didn't go for the AK47 look.

  • @weaponeer Permanently attached muzzle brakes count as barrel length.

  • how u liking that svd stock?

  • @pvtjoker777 - I have never had a problem with it, and I have used it hours at a time in combat style shooting. the funny part is I'm getting ready to sell a US version of this stock, but in wood, and it looks great.

  • @weaponeer I recently got a saiga 12 about 3 months ago and just took it to the range 2 days ago and I've been wanting to get a pistol grip/stock for it since its cheaper than moving the trigger group forward. Thanks for letting me know how the stock was I'm thinking about picking one up.

  • AA12 LOOK's better

  • That SVD style stock is cool....where did you get that? or made it?

  • @b0xcrash it came from Russia. it's a real SVD stock, and a direct fit. BUT.... soon I'll be posting a video on a stock just about like it, but it's made in the USA, and it's very pretty wood. I'll be listing them soon on my website.

  • @weaponeer cool, thanks. I might grab one for sure I like the look and the fit, it looks more like it belongs. :)

  • Does that burris sight hold up well? I want a sight that can handle 00 buck.

  • @BendoverBernanke - it handled the fist trial of 10 boxs of shells without a problem. the recoil on the S12 is not that big a deal with the gas operation.

  • can we see some clipe of this baby in action? it looks good!

  • I had problems with the walmart Winchester ammo, the Federal brand works great, had shoot boxes after boxes of that one,

  • @olmedohgal ..mine jams up on me to if I use that win. 100rd value pack 7 shot stuff,...(even with the gas setting to No.2 for light loads)...the only stuff I can get to function out of my drum & stick mags is the full power 2.3/4 pheasant loads in like 4 or 6 shot...:-S....but maybe theirs a remedy for that issue if anybody knows?

  • @kyle82386 seems to be a brand of ammo with a common problem. what I can try to do is buy some of that ammo and "try" to run it though my S12 to see if it works. now mine has the Gunfixers Improved Gas Plug in place and not the stock one (which has problems with light loads). The improved gas plus has 4 adjustments rather than 2. now if mine runs the ammo, themn the fix is the newer gas plug if you want to shoot the cheap stuff.

  • I have been waiting to get one of my own for a while now, since my funds are not good. I never even thought about building one to save a bit of money. Thanks for the idea, the video, and the site to make the build much easier.

  • how reliable are these i am in the maket for a new semi auto shotgun and i like the detachable magazine feature.

  • @dp665 if you wish to use slug or buckshot they work great. with cheap birdshot it's hit and miss, and this is due to quality control. sometimes they don't drill enough holes for the gas ports, and that limits the weapon. Mine has all the required gas port holes, and the aftermarket gas plug and mine is ultra reliable.

  • @dp665 They have a ajustable gas system, so it is relyable with just about any shotgun load. I have used them, but not owned one yet, and I found if it jams, it is most likely not set for that type of ammo.

  • @Jesses001 the stock gas plus is adjustable, but not VERY adjustable will little regard to low brass (light loads). The S12 was designed as a combat shotgun, and not a trap gun, so if you with to use cheap walmart ammo you need to upgrade to the more adjustable gas plug like you see on mine.
