Its an unbelieveably good deal and I am interested in it too, I would recommend googling reviews about it but its really what you/parents can afford, my opinion is that it something different from PC World as most of their PC's are overpriced usually.
My computer used to shit its shell with FarCry2 even with the most shit settings. Now I got the HD 4850 512mb and I can play it with everything ultra high and 1680x1050 resolution. Place I bought it from said you can`t run FC2 on full, well I can.
i got an average of 63 fps in dx10 mode with my pc but because of the frikkin microstuttering i had to swich to dx9 mode and my fps dropped to 53... lol its so wierd oh well no complaints it still runs smoothe just wish they would fix the dx 10 mode already... jebus!
you'll probably handly FC2 just fine but that card is a bit weak for gaming if you care to max everything out. i'd really look into getting somthing in the 4800 or 3800 series. the 4600 series are more for casual games like WoW
NO I can play FC2 on ultra high settings with no problem!! About 15-18 FPS. I bought this computer
3weeks ago and after that it crashd so I went to the store and got my money back so I decited to build one, not by my self because I have no expreience for building one.
15-18 fps is playable in my book but wasn't that a bit slow and laggy? with the 4670 i bet you could play it just fine with medium-high settings at a good solid framerate. i know you're getting that gtx 260 but i just thought i'd share my thoughts.
anyway happy pc building! once you get the hang of it, it's not a challenging process good luck!
what is better the nvidia 9800gt or the ati radeon hd 4850? Also can the nvida 9800gt run along side the Nvidia 7600 gt? AAHHHH cant decide

yes that would be a great choice for this game.

3 reasons for that:
1.)i'm unexperienced
2.) i don't want to loose garantie, because my pc is relatively new
3.) until now i don't need it ;)
