His loneliness comes not from the fact that he has a big family, it's that he loves them all but he's going to outlive them all, so he has to watch them grow old and die while he goes on. The music was wonderfully chosen, and great scene choice. Very touching.
If only he knew that he really isn't alone . The people he has meet and friends he's made are always with him.
