This looks extremely monotonous. Your character recieves too much damage during each fight to realistically carry on. Surely, there is some block / parry / counter? Why isn't this at least as good as SoulCalibur?

That said, the customisable controls and variety of magic spells looks good.

@Uncompetative You don't take much damage if your defence value is high enough. Also "Chance to evade +X%" greatly reduces opponents chance to hit. It also depends on as what character you are playing.

If you play PC hold shift button down. It's a blocking button and It increases defence value quite a lot. Some enemy had 60% chance to hit but when I held shift button down I was supprised that their chance to hit dropped to 10%. 0_o

@derekisazombie39 The graphics are the same but need a beefy machine to run it at best settings. You'll most likely find a bigger community in the multiplayer mode with PC unless the gamematching system is cross platform.

Well its pretty cheap at the moment so might as well. I played it for abit but am spoilt for choice atm and can't decide what I want to play. x_x

It's a lot like Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath, just way more in depth with tons more loot and a level cap of 200. If you like those games (as I did, A LOT), then trust me, Sacred 2 is the game for you. It has local co-op, but it isn't split screen, you have to play on the same screen. It's a blast playing co-op too, my buddy and I spent many, many hours in front of the TV with this game, just as we did with BG: DA and CoN.

Buy it, you'll love it.

There doesn't seem to be a great deal of information available at present, and that includes a specific release period (as far as I can see, 2011/2012 is the only thing that has been mentioned).

"for me" this is better than WoW, no monthly fees, no dramas, less addicting, no more healing allies we has potions!, and i get to sleep better. i don't hate WoW at all, its the best game i have played, Sacred 2 falls second. @XXxZAKKxX after playing Sacred some more i realized that the Dwarf (as much as i love Dwarves in any game) kind of sucks in the long run,mainly because you're restricted to some awesome weapons and armors and he can't ride a horse (Why???) i found the Gladiator to be much more flexible so i will probably play Sacred 2 (please tell me there's a gladiator type character in this one)

@Slic3R1 Do a google image search for "Sacred 2 characters" the third image shows the 6 playable types. I played as a Shadow Warrior on my ps3, great for brute strength. On the PC I played with the inquisitor who has a nice balance of magic and strength. In all honestly though, you can shape your character through leveling up and such.

Sacred2 public is more focused on pure action seeking the style of Diablo.

@simmsoriginal This game is very good, i admit that there are better games like this but for consoles this is the only diablo style rpg that i know of. There is a ridiculous amount of stuff to do in this game and all of it is fun. idk what kind of game you enjoy but clearly you need to stay away from rpg's, oh and the 200 lvl cap is great, most games don't let you go past 99. one last thing, since when have these kinds of games ever had deep stories? most people skip the text anyway.

And i'll also admit that this game was actually very fun when I first got it. Then after awhile of Quest and Grind, i've found that there are better RPG's out there...When I first got it, yeah I thought it would've been better. But you have to admit the mechanics were VERY SLOPPY.. You would still be attacking for 30 seconds after your target is already dead..Overall it's not terrible. It'll keep you busy awhile.
