I grew up near there, but never had a chance to explore the area. I left when I was 18. Moved to a big city, 16 years later, I'm thinking of going back. I miss peace and quiet, nature, fresh air. It really is beautiful up there.
It is Grass Valley. I lived there for years and I recognised one of the cafes in the video. Otherwise they look very similar, yes, but definitely Grass Valley.
Thanks for stirring the good memories! Good video.

I hope you enjoyed this town, it is pretty cool when you get used to it. I do think that people should get out of this town for a bit though, and see the world. Seems like it is that way in most small towns. No lack of money here, or weed for that matter. Cheers!
hahah...i apologize for my friend. He didn't mean any harm. he was just joking cos i told him that there were horses and ranches. In singapore, there are only stray dogs and cats...

Curious, What brought you to Grass Valley of all cities?
This city is small and has absolutely nothing to do!
I'd know, I was born and raised here, exactly why I'm moving to the East coast very soon :-)
hahaha!
and you prolly walked right past my house while you were visiting! hahaha

coorscowgirl, you are a DUMBASS!
I've lived in GV ALL MY LIFE! Noly 4 minutes from where this was takin, Nevada city would have a HUGE HILL in which BROAD STREET would line.
