Just watching this you can see a little bit of her in Jimi. It's crazy. At least she got to see him play before he passed, and what he accomplished. Even though it was a short stay for her. Ha, it probably was a bit noisy. Mitch on the drums and all those Marshall Stacks in her face.
As a drug user, to an extent drugs can help you, but at a point any drug can become a crutch and be more of a nuisance than a help. As a person that has had friends in both categories i thing that this should have further consideration!
Your right about one of the most remarkable musical forces of the 19th century that is for sure.Uli john roth said something similar in a newspaper when monika danneman died in 95 96..But i think it was in responce to cathy etchinghams comments putting hendrix down just because she's so tired of people always making him out to be GOD..Her memories of in jimi's are nice beginning but by 69 she said he was lost drug abuser..Some of the reasons are managment and touring 2 fucking years straight..
You can tell she was proud of Jimi, even though he played to loud for her (and probably most people of that time). Al Hendrix had almost the same Canadian/Northwest US accent. ...wow this was SO cool. Thanks for posting this!!!
I disagree with the beginning ... he didn't die "from drugs".
When the paramedics got to him, he was totally full of red wine ... his lungs and everything. Yet there was very little alcohol in his blood stream. This points to forced drowning (by others) and death before the alcohol could be assimilated.
As far as I'm concerned he was murdered and this has been covered up all this time.
great video! his grandmother is a sweet lady & I don't know why the "drug's had to be mentioned Thanx for uploading :))

Jimis Grandmother lived up in Vancouver Canada .
There is a "shrine " devoted to Jimi and his music in the building where his Grandmother worked . Check it out if you are in Vancouver.

That's neat. She looks a lot like her grandson. More so than other family members I'd say...

nice video, but the reporter fucked this interview up.
could have been a pleasant thing, but he turned it sour by asking about drugs.
