Rookie36, I agree with you on most fronts bc I have seen dave over 40 times now and have said the same thing..somes songs it is just too much for their sound, but if you haven't picked up the new album do so. the album has a much different sound, much harder, more electric, dave plays most of the songs on his electric..they even said in the documentary that leroi challenged them to create a diff. sound bc he felt they were getting stale...so all in all tim and dave rocked the electrics this time

Great version of this song! I just am bummed that Tim might be playing during every song when I see them at the gorge this year. I think, like a lot of things in life, he's only good in moderation.

I was at this show, they had these black curtain things that unveiled them at the beginning of the set; they were still hanging a little, and the light show was pretty unreal, they didn't need carpet.

I am a huge Dave fan and have seen the band's music change so much through all their discs, but no matter what they are still and always recognizable as DMB. I look at each album as so different than the last but again, always Dave, and always great.

I am a pretty big dave fan mice elf (Nice Thank You reference Saultyness) I like the new song it isn't my favorite, it is kind of mainstream like but I still enjoy it. Also Rashawn is a great musician however sometimes his high pitched horn bothers me in songs. He adds to the sound most of the time so I do not see what his size has to do with his musical ability. I can't wait for the album and the shows I will be at this summer!

You can just feel how much work they put into this album and how confident and proud of the material they are! its FLAWLESS and not forced like Stand Up...,sounds like its been around for 20 years already! This stuff is easily better than anything off of Everyday and Stand Up, as well as most, if not all, of the other unreleased material they have created since the Lillywhites.
