its been a month since my family and I were evacuated by these awesome machines...this was the first piece of footage I had seen of the choppers

I was sitting on my veranda that afternoon watching them all fly in over head.... was interesting trying to work out if they were bringing in or taking out.... Amazing sight to view!!!

Those are droptanks so they should have had heeps of fuel

What is the current status in Laidley?

There is very little details in the media. Just that "the area has been ordered to get to higher grounds".

If anybody from Laidley would provide some info, I'd be very grateful.

@Dethmasheen water has gone down for now but the main street is damaged. Every store on the main street has been damaged and it looks like an ATM has even been torn out and washed away. Damage is extensive throughout the town
