@smautomat - This was a local Detroit version-of-bandstand show. Robin Seymour had several in the '60s. The link was that in the combination between local and national charts both Anne Murray and MC5 were chart toppers. I was a white panther back then so it was great getting MC5 on the tube. I'd just turn the volume off after their jams.
