Mr Prine is an amazing song writer and Bonnie Rait has a beautiful voice ( really good guitar player too). I love both of their versions of this song. Your cover is really great, nice finger picking and very soulful singing. I really enjoyed listening to this!

Absolutely beautiful song, heard it first when she performed as opening act for Clapton here in Frankfurt, but I think it is better suited for a female voice from the perspective of an old woman

The problem with doing a song like 'Angel From Montgomery is that there are so many versions out there & you're gonna get that inevitable "I think *blank blank* does it better (or worse) than you*. I admire your taking it on & I like your version a lot! Sounds great! I just wish I could see your fingers better 'cuz I'm trying to learn it too. =)

That's the beauty of the Guitar, Use your good ol ears and you can usually "hear" the picking. Pick a pattern and give it a go. If it doesn't sound right, try another. Or I'm sure there's tons of TABS out there for this one. Good luck and happy playing.
