@Sinsiterules in japanese theres no "l" sound. however the "r" sound does do the same thing the "l" and "d" sound do that is to say they have the tongue touch the roof of the mouth. So in most english words that have to be decyphered into katakana (which is an alphabet for foreign stuff in japan) if theres an "l" sound (such as endLEss) they change into their "r" sound (such as (endREss
