I think i know why. The sprite it would choose for that situation was x numbers away from clauses sprites, so it picked the same number of sprites away from west, which must be a chair.

This is hilarious! :D If you notice, the chair is rocking at 0:08 IoIxD And the clause sprite is from when he's seen behind the mountain after the Mechanical Drago fight. That explains why he's missing his shoes, bubt his right arm looks fine. It was probably broken and Pokey (YES PO^KEY >:( turned it into a beam gun.

Notice how the oxygen machine didn't actually come into contact with any of the party members. The machine must have been releasing pure oxygen into the air and Claus fainted. Wess used a Thief Chair Disguise Scroll and became a chair. Thomas and Fuel stopped, dropped, and ROLLED (well, not rolled) to avoid breathing it in and Fassad wasn't affected at all because he is really-

They're the exact same as Lucas's, except for the different colors and the way his hair faces in the oppisite direction that Lucas's does (his hair must be EVIL :O).

P.S. If anyone wants adult Claus sprites, just go to the island with the mushrooms and fight him. Be warned. You'll never get to play as young Claus on that file again (of course, if you want to play the game regularly, this is almost impossible to avoid). Plus, adult Claus only has one running sprite.
