Salam. Did i misunderstand or did wisam say that we must seek forgiveness from the person we have wronged before asking Allah swt for forgiveness? i've heard other scholars say something different. i am confused
@calberkeley01 No. He's right. Before asking Allah we are suppose to ask forgiveness to those who we done wronged to. It comes under "haqooq ul Ibaad" for which Allah won't be able forgive a person until that person had asked forgives to the person who one has hurt. May Allah azza wajal knows best.
