to fix the disc problem just turn the wii off then disconnect the power cable then connect it again then turn on the wii and the wii should read the disc

@cooknoah123 Ive Fixed Mine....I Have bootmii boot2 so i used that and i used bootmini.elf (the new hacmii installer)booted that ,instaled hbc again, and used dop-ios MOD and ran a system check and the problemo is fixed, ;)

I'm sort of having the same problems as well. :/ It won't launch the games on the Disc channel (It reads discs, but it doesn't launch them) And It won't launch any of the wii ware or VC games. it ONLY loads the homebrew channel...

put every thing on a sd card and sell your wii then just buy a used one for bout 200$ and get all the stress out thats wut im doin and

2 step: unplug and remove your drive completelly for wii.You will be able to load homebrew but not other channels.Report your results

Its nothing wrong with your wii, its actually your wii dvd drive. I think its exactly same problem I had. here are two steps

1 step:

To fix that open your wii then remove wii DVD drive power cable (white one) then power on wii go to disc channel and it should say "please insert disc" you can now load Homebrew Channel and will take much time to load but will work. If this doesnt work then follow second step.

i think you've got a virus on your wii that makes it lock up. you can get it from the internet channel and other things on the wii. if you update your wii it should fix it's self.

but as for those textures, they were directly on the disc so thats why it wouldnt have anything to do with the wii being broken..but anyways its gone now and i have a brand new wii

Leave it unplugged for like 15 hours.

My Wii wouldn't turn at all after a black-out, it was just on sleep mode. I was glad when it turned on, after I followed some advice from google searching. Now my Wii is fine and dandy. =D

Reformat your Wii and run the update. if that doesn't work then it's officially bricked. Most likely you'll have to buy a new wii or repair the wii by paying Nintendo.

it might have updated itself. If the wii is updated with the Homebrew installed, i heard it gets fucked up in the with the newer firmware versions.

I took my homebrew off right before all this started happening... I knew it was coming.

go to wiibrew(dot)org it says it right at the top of the page.

i've been on 3.2u for the longest time and have never updated...it shouldnt auto update on 3.2u on top of that, preloader skips disc updates so there should be no way for it to update :/
