It sounds mostly the same, but the bass sounds more sinister and some of the synth work is different. I am curious if the stereo rendering lets you hear more detail or if there are parts that were added in.

@coverdale20: Funny thing is, some details are slightly buried under the percussions of the stereo version. The mono had some other way of mixing that made that more hearable.

I'm in my 30's and proud to say....I still watch it on DVD. My kids will see it too hopefully.

A gentleman, a strong honest main character who goes after people operating ABOVE the law. So different from philandering bozo special effect induced 'heros' in today's shows

i was 9 when i first watched this show, and now i am 13, and it is the bomb. i love the new ones, but not as much as i do these ones. this is THE BEST Knight Rider there is, and that there ever will be. No Knight Rider could ever match this one. and i do love this theme song. i also like the new one, but i love this one.
