  • where can i see the fucking clip >:(

  • Btw still crying ;(

  • Poor son of a bitch.. If i whas general...i would give him a medal of hornor..R.I.P frank..god bless your soul

  • id rather die than suffer from RAGE...28 days/weeks later are both sad movies, with or without this song...

  • he was the most likable character because he was filled with so much hope unlike Jim and Selena who lost everything

  • @MrLisztomaniac That's exactly why he had to die.

  • "STAY AWAY FROM HIM" -Soldier

  • he was like a father to everyone....his death made me cry

  • This was one of the most emotional scenes I'd ever seen in film. It's been 8 years since the movie has been released and I have yet to see it matched--I bawl like a little girl every time I see the movie.

  • Dont blame the soldiers cause he killed frank, ik that i feel REALLY bad about frank and hannah, but the soldiers had to kill him because if they didnt then probably the survivors wouldve ben killed

  • HE WAS MY FAV CHARACTER IN THE BEGINING AND I CRIED SO HARD WEN HE DIED!!!!!!!!

  • The music really made this scene sad

  • The reason i hated this scene was because frank looks and kinda act's like my uncle.

  • frank was so kind not wanting the crow to be infected he kicked the board which coz the blood to drip into his eyes and knowing his end is near he even push his daughter away rip frank

  • I wish this would be playing for our entire population to hear, all across the planet when our planet's final hours arrive. we'd all be dying from nuclear war, and from huge natural disasters. The cities are dark, the planet is dark, all the people are slowly dying, one by one. Chilling, isn't it? Think of slow motion nuclear detonations when listening to this; think of all the people, dying, 7 billion of them, over a couple of month's time . A requiem for all humanity.

  • @BoeingPilotable there are only 6 billion people

  • @Zobuzi 6.989 billion

  • thumbs up if u killed the crow after the scene

  • 28 days later was one of the best movies i have ever seen.

  • Frank was my favorite character :(

  • where is this scene

  • I love movie music..and Cliff Martinez is my favorite!

  • "Sun's Gone Dim" is sadder!

  • Wow! I accidently had both videos open while listening to this. The other one was the 28 Days Later season song. I didn't even notice because it sounded so good. xD

  • 11 people are afraid of eye drops now,

also i think its sad about how hannah is in shock when her dad dies cause shes simply like...dad?

  • @ogopolo I think she could have acted it out a little better though. It was really sad :(

  • we were watching a video on the holocaust in Holocaust class obviously...this song was in one of the videos...song made it alot stronger...

  • Jim: Frank ?

    Frank: (Acting deseperately)

    (soldiers shoot Frank with Enfield)

    Hannah:(Sadly)Dad?

  • he saved them with riot shiled poor man RIP

  • I was drunk watching this movie and cried during this scene. This entire movie is so well acted, scripted, and presented that it is above your average zombie movie. It is a human drama with a brillant climax.

  • OMG ADVANCED RABI VIRUS KILLED FRANK, U BASTARDs

  • @Finalthings91 No, 6 shots to the back with a L86 is what killed frank

  • so sad how he has to push his daughter away, and then gets shot. so sad. ;-(

  • also "kiss of death" in 28 weeks later

  • If only he hadn't kicked that fence....

  • it makes me sad that when he realises he is infected just before he turns he tells his daughter he loves her :'(

  • @crisscoyote Damn crow...

  • @leeho98 Go get your head looked son

  • @leeho98 im 76 and praying for a blowjob.. lol jk

  • @leeho98 lol. now im kind of paranoid

  • seratonin is a chemical inbetween your synapse's in your spine, they affect reactions, the only emotional effect they have is to make you happy when there are lots and down when there are less, ecstacy blocks seratonin from being re-absorbed, thats why people on ectasy are generally really happy

  • Супер, просто супер! Кто это передумал, молодец, постоянно в осадке, тяжёлая композиция(((

  • 1 male, 2 female, repeat, 2 female, 1 male

    Put the kettle on

  • This song is similar to "Dumbledore´s Farewell" from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Of course, this one was first, but I think, maybe Nicholas Hopper was inspired in this song 1:31 to 2:00 is very similar to the begining of Dumbledore´s Farewell.

  • OO and you all know frank (Gleeson) was William Wallace's best friend in Braveheart. It'll click once u see his face he was the guy with the big axe haha.

  • the fact of the matter is.. There is 1 chemical in the human brain that we need or else we go into a mindless frenzy as u see here in 28 days later. Its called Serotonin. If a virus ever breaks out or parasite that fucks with Serotonin than all your 28 days later dreams will come true. The scary thing is that its not a real far cry away. It could happen.. Stock up on surgical masks =)

  • @1337Sickplaya Interesting thought. I know seratonin affects your social interactions and mood (ie, more seratonin makes you more confident and dominant, and a seratonin imbalance can cause clinical depression) but I hadn't heard that a lack of it causes a "mindless frenzy". Can you point me to a source on that one?

  • @1337Sickplaya good point

  • Frank is the most awesome character. Unfortunatly we all knew he would die as soon as his character was introduced.

    Damn cool old man :p

  • "Thanks Dad"

  • this is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I'm one of the 28 series biggest fans... but the ending is CRAP. It sucked how a handful of horny soldiers took part in the biggest part of the plot

  • Best character in the movie dies the most pathetic death

  • What dosen't make sense is that they shot him a million friggin' times. He was dead in the first 2-3 shots!!!

  • So sad, everything changed so fast.

  • every time i see this part my eyes water....Frank was cool as shit

  • GET AWAY FROM THE BODY

  • poor frank! :( that raven fucked him

  • i was so sad when frank dies. he went through so much to save his daughter. it broke my heart when he knew he was infected and he was sayig his goodbyes and then he pushes her away from him.

  • Poor Frank ...

  • poor frank

  • fk imagine if a virus like this actually exsisted? fk i wouldnt wanna be around for it, just put a nade in ya mouth and do the macarina, thats how i would go down.

  • @FamGuy1995

Nah man atleast take out a few of those bastards with you.

  • @FamGuy1995 there can be one,. i just explained it in my recent post =/ shits can be as real as cancer

  • you gotta find it sad though i mean he knows hes dead now what would you do in that situation? he just tells his daughter how much he loves her

  • frank ! dont look up, a drop of blook is going to fall into your eye and your going to get infected and the soldiers are going to try to rape your daughter. !!!! (drop of blood goes into his eye) RIP Frank you will always be in our hearts.

  • this was the moment when I realized how crazy the Rage Virus was.....and how unescapable it would be.....cheers frank

  • Frank was my favorite, it sucks he had to die.

The alternate ending was alot better (The one in the DVDs special features thats completly in storyboard)

  • @Mixwizzard35 That one made me even more sad.

  • really good actor =)

  • they went back and tried to see what would happen if no soldiers were there. the aftermath was, jim gives his lifeto save frank, who is infected(watch alternate ending.)

  • I remember this part in the film. Once that blood dropped into Frank's eye, everybody in the cinema all at once let out a big gasp!

  • Excellent movie, I love how the soldiers used the SA80 Assault rifle.

  • i wanna watch this movie again

  • "KEEP AWAY FROM ME! KEEP AWAY FROM MEE!" one of the best most emotional movies ever made

  • how dus he die?

  • by a rave....his blood drip in his eye!!!

  • ?_? ok i'll jus watch the moovie...lol

  • @BlackVelvet001 No it was from the dead body the raven was on top of I think. I don't know you might be right.

  • He does the right .. He pull back Hannah.. What a great father.. Sdad scene ;s

  • such a sad point ...genius

  • "I love you very much"

    "What?"

    "Keep away from me"

  • Im sorry but this coment gave me the freaking LULZ! XD

  • Aw, he was the best character in the movie =(

  • iif u didnt feel sad at all when this part happened then your a cold hearted ba***rd

  • @MnMLPFM Im sorry i couldnt help laugh lol, i thought it was hallrious:p

  • @MnMLPFM i dont remember posting this comment, then again it was a year ago.

  • Damn! such a dump death to a Faboluos Character! I love when he`s on their house, with that police suit! man! he rulez!!!!

  • yeah that´s right when he appears in the police suit and rescue the guys and how he protect her daughter is fantastic!!!! he´s old but he can kick infected asses!!!!!

  • very sad scene. Feel sorry for Hannah

  • One of my favorite scenes in any movie, ever.

  • i was sad when frank died. he was a cool character.

  • Yea ;s

  • Frank the best! he like bud spencer! he was very funny, the first time i had see this movie, when frank died i was very very sorry!

  • This is how mad eye moody lost his eye XD

  • I free run to this song.. is there something bad with that? o_o

  • me too, omg.

  • No, its a perfectly normal thing to do..

  • hell naw bro i feel u i listen to this when i train

  • i loved frank!NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol he was so cool with his apartment too! lol

  • This scene was pretty intense, the blood drop falls directly in his eye.

Then he gets iced by the soldiers.

    Dang, son.

  • Like DAB said it really is haunting and beautiful. I can't get enough of this track.

  • I remember the first time I watched this scene - I literally GASPED OUT LOUD as the blood drop was falling towards Frank's face. I can't remember ever doing that in a movie before,

  • I gasped too when I first watched it. I was like..."OMG! HOW CAN HE LEAVE HIS LITTLE GIRL ALL ALONE!?!" Very intense and emotional moment, I think.

  • The bit when she comes round the corner and he starts screaming stay away stay away from me!!

    That scene was epic.

  • So haunting and Beautiful

  • hay your picture not movingn on dia vidoa.

  • that's because it's just a picture not the scene

  • Simply beautiful.

  • Andy most likely infected someone immediately after arriving, perhaps even his own sister Tammy, who might have been like their father. The kiddie drawing (the one that read "for dad") at the pilot's chopper was probably shown once more to tell us that they took revenge by spreading the virus...so yes, both Andy and Tammy probably died immediately after infecting the pilot.

  • andy is most likely dead, he probobly inected a french gf or something killed she kills him and spreads the infection

  • Some people say that his death was stupid but, this showed he lost hope.. he saw all that fighting for survival was for nothing there was no "safe" place...he...gave up.

  • Theres so much emotion in this piece an the soundtrack. Thats one of the reasons why 28 Days Later is ahead the most of all those zombie/horror movies. And it is a british movie, what fits it very well. Better than almost all of those american/italian mediocre zombietrashflicks.

  • D minor is pretty awesome key. Sunshine theme is the same

  • This part did make me cry, not really but

"Hannah, I love you very much"

    "What?"

"Keep away from me, stay where you are"

    "Dad?"

"KEEP AWAY FROM ME STAY AWAY, GAAAAAAH"

    Frank...

  • this is the only way frank can get infected! because of zombies - no way

  • all the music in this movie is awsome

  • uhhhh didums

  • that part almost made me cry

  • me also it was rlly sad those dam solider they should have come earler *sniff

  • I found this scene particularly disturbing for some reason.

  • it is,cause the soldiers didn't come out until he got infected :(

  • @Allsop4

    same here.

  • that part of the movie was sooo brilliant

  • I love how they use this music in 28 Weeks Later when Don gets infected. Still the use of it when Frank gets infected feels even more tragic.

  • when i saw this part, i didn't even realize that my jaw dropped until it was over

  • haha thats when you know your watching a amazing movie!!!!!!

  • yea me too,i hope that when 28 months later is made they bring back:Jim and Selena from 28 days later AND Tammy and Andy from 28 weeks later and they somehow link the two stories together i think that would be great!!!!

  • O.o good idea

  • I do hope for a movie of 28 Months later.

but doesn't everybody die in 28 days later..

cuase they say at the end "They are coming!"

    and they shut the doors...

i have little hope for them.

The kid that was a carrier somehow spreaded it accros French I believe. maybe he made out with a girl JK :P

anyway if 28 months later will come out..

the world would be in ruins!

  • no just europe lol

the U.S would prob go into like lock down or something

and for some odd reason the U.S would be the ones who would once again go back into europe and try to start rebuilding

and maybe for once people will use their brains and stop making out with people who are so obviously infected

    jeez fucking retards

  • Lockdown didn't work either with Dawn of the Dead where the infection was spreaded over all of america within 3-4 days or sumthing?

  • @waazabie Um no selena is still alive because they're doing a whole comic series revolving around her during the events of 28 weeks later. Look it up on the internet.

  • @infinitideagames is it a canoon strip or fan made ?I mean , I guessed they'd survive from the ending , but it'd be nice to see just how they wound up .

  • @Sasoriemo The radically alternate ending was to see how would things turn out if the military never came beyond franks death. Just type in 28 days later radically alternate ending.

  • Il pezzo fra i miei preferiti! L'ho cercato apposta e l'ho trovato! Bellissimo! (good)

  • I love this song

  • i have this song on my ipod its definetly worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is the most addicting most brilliant most underrated movie ever

5/5 and im watching this movie before i go to bed

  • He is mourned for by the leading trumpet in 1:31 represented as the daughters depression after she has lost her only father on that corrupted shrinking island....which has the same overtone as that of a fallen comrad in a war film movie score...This piece is delicate.. Bless the man or women who composed this work of art

  • In this scene, Frank is lucky enough to get infected by a falling drop of blood... and in around 0:54 when the feminine chorus arrives this is depicted to me like heavenly wrath or as if angels are sucking the life out of frank.

  • shouldn't that be unlucky enough?

  • Arguably, being infected by a drop of blood is luckier than being mauled by infected people.

  • Yeah, but your still infected.

  • Haha I definately agree to you- you wouldn't have to suffer through that terror. If I knew I were to be infected, hopefully it would be by a drop of blood!

  • someone can put this scense up please

  • this scene was really sad for me, although you have to realize that without those soldiers, frank might have killed jim, slena and hannah.

  • Awsum movie :D

  • to mr lolmancunt, l don't really think you understood this scene of the movie if you get angry with soldiers for killing frank. yeah l do agree, they suck in the end, but not for killing frank, if they didn't kill him, he would have killed all the others, including his daughter.

  • Actually the anger is justifiable as I, too, was angry. Not that they killed Frank but that they were just sitting there waiting. They could have prevented Frank's death in general had they just come on out.

  • Yes they could of saved frank but why would they? it shows later on in the food hall that they couldn't care less of what happens in britian now as they laugh and joke about "M&S" re-opening. As you find out Major Henry West promised his men women, I believe the soldiers didn't jst kill frank because he was infected, they killed him as they saw women in the equation and had to take frank out to access their promise.

  • And that's exactly what happened. But that doesn't make it an less anger worthy. In fact I think it adds to it.

  • awesome.....sad.....master-piece

  • I really don't think that this is from Mozart's Requiem Mass in D Minor. I have listend to that complete masterpiece all the way from "Introitus" down to "Communion" quite a few times, and I never remember this being a part of any of it. If it is, can anyone prove it? I mean under which movement, (or part) of the Mozart's Requiem Mass would you find this in?? This song from 28 days later is awesome regradless... But I'd like to see some evidence of it being a part of ANY of Mozart's work.

  • Likewise. I am fairly certain it is not part of Mozarts Requiem in D Minor.

An interesting note: the film's soundtrack uses other parts from Faure's Requiem in D Minor. I just listened to it, in case they got the two mixed up when labeling the soundtrack, and still did not find this piece anywhere.

Please let me know if you have made any progress tracking down this song.

  • this was from samuel barber

  • i cried at this part. i thought it was so sad.

  • This was angry and gave me an instant dislike of the soldiers for not talking to them before he got infected.

  • this is one of the best scenes from the movie

  • This was a very sad scene :(

  • Very touching music it is... Indeed.

  • Chilling, sad, and moving all at once.

  • i like the end credits music (john murphy)

    sounds a lot like radiohead....

  • its pretty depressing music i think

  • Great piece!

  • Tragic..reminds me of the scene when Frank pushed Hanna away with the few seconds of sanity he had left..

  • i love this song i bought it from itunes a while back. its sort of like the last score of gladiator in the sense that it makes u want to cry.

  • Is beutifuul.

  • this is the same thing as CODE RED from 28 weeks later

  • Both are Soldiers-reqiem in D minor. I think it was written by Wilfred Owen.. I think.

  • Wilfred Owen was a WW1 poet, not a composer.

  • I know Owen was a poet and read some of his poetry, I especially love Dulce Et Decorum Est. But I read somewhere he also made this variation dedicated to the victims of WW1, never knew him as a writer either. And he did not compose it. Originally this belongs to Mozart Reqiem in D Minor.
