  • Looking back does anyone else think that Baby Animal had ADD? If he did, it's a good thing that there was never an episode where Nanny contemplated putting him on ridilin, as that would be a controversal episode.

  • R.I.P. Barbara Billingsley, aka June Cleaver

  • @TimFrith24 and she spoke Jive.

  • the dog is nelsen from the simpsons..haha

  • @nolanjuice84 Actually, Rowlf is voiced by Katie Leigh who was not a part of The Simpsons at all; Nelson is voiced by Nancy Cartwright who also does Bart. Coincidentally, though, Russi Taylor who performs the voice of Gonzo is also the voice of Martin and Uter on The Simpsons.

  • @freakydisco oh lol it kinda sounded the same so i just figured

  • Who the hell put a dislike on the Muppet Babies?! Curse you whoever you are~

  • Baby Rowlf clearly was on steroids. NO WAY he could lift up the ENTIRE couch with THREE muppets on it naturally. And for that matter, why is Baby Rowlf the only one doing the lifting??? Does not seem far!

  • QuEsTiOn

Were you a noisy neighbor of your own?

  • I love when Kermit imagines Nanny turning into the cop and he's gently tapping his hand with the night stick... would never get away with that today.

  • two things i've noticed one barbara changed the way she did nanny it seems to me i could be wrong after a few one these and fozzy got a different voice actor also and THIS TOON IS ONE OF JIM HENSON'S last things he was fully able to work on and ANYBODY WHO SAYS it sucks IS FULL OF it THANK YOU

  • I'd fuck the shit out of Nanny.

  • cute <3

  • Baby Animal is so adorable!!!

I can't believe how strong Baby Rowlf is to lift the couch with three muppets on it!

  • lmao this show brings back so many memories

  • I love Rowlf. He and Piggy were always my favorite.

  • I think Rowlf should've been done by Frank Welker, in the style of Dynomutt: Dog Wonder.

  • I never realized how terrible this show was when I was younger.

  • LMBO!

  • Animal was always my favorite of the Muppet Babies and the one I most identified with as a child. :)

  • Rest In Peace: Barbara Billingsley

  • Fozzie sounds like he's got a foreign accent or something!

  • does anyone else hear the song "memories" by weezer playing in their head as they watch this?

  • nanny should be arrested for child neglect

  • Animal is such a Badass. Yes!

  • I actually still have my miss piggy stuffed animal from my childhood in my own apartment

  • Wow, talk about memories. Bittersweet ones, unfortunately.

  • This is one of my favorite episodes, but I had no idea it was the first episode, either. Neat!

  • I Love Muppet Babies :))

  • True Classic..

  • Nanny and her stripped green and white socks will be truly missed. =(

  • @DarkAngel71488 june cleaver did her voice so def truly missed

  • @DarkAngel71488 The show's been off for over 20 years. If you haven't gotten through the grieving process by now, you might want to see a psychiatrist :P

  • Barbara Billingsley the voice of "Nanny" died (she was also June Cleaver from the OG, Leave it to Beaver, who knew?) she was 94. Nanny and her stripped green and white socks will be truly missed. =(

  • could never see who the nanny was

  • Barbara Billingsley -- best known for playing June Cleaver on " Leave It to Beaver and played the nanny on muppet babies " -- passed away this morning. ...

  • @deedeesnicks RIP

  • Who was the voice of nanny? Sounds familiar

  • Awww...

  • in spanish sounds so much better!!!

  • love this cartoon. funny how they were always left alone at such a small age lol

  • Brillant cartoon series this was , why dont they still produce this great child,s cartoon ?? . It was so part of my child hood " as in many more people that are now adults ,( BRING BACK 1980,S TWO EARLY 90,S CATOONS BACK PLEASE !!!) ...................

  • Remember when we had vivid imaginations??????

  • Haha, anyone notice that Skeeter is Howie Mandel?

  • The five people who 'disliked' had no childhood.

  • this cartoon will always be the best.

  • awww i remember watching this as a ickle kid, i forgot how aadorably baby animal is...

  • Animal reminds me of my little nephew.

Crawling around the room, making funny noises, laughing, and biting everything.

  • Wow, I can't believe this show debuted in 1984. This show is timeless I sure little kids will still love it.

  • Man, watching this makes me feel so old... My lil sis doesn't even know what this is. Lol

  • I used to watch this and David the Gnome as a kid. I agree with everyone; they don't make cartoons like they used to! I am really glad I found these. I will be sure to show my niece, who is 6, when she comes to visit.

  • @laceymarie1987 ME TOO. I LOVE DAVID THE GNOME TOO. MUPPET BABIES ARE A TRUE CLASSIC

  • @laceymarie1987 haha seriously. This was always on when I was a kid. And now I've got nephews who 8 and 6 and what they watch is just...just awful. When I have kids, it's gonna be Sesame Street and Muppet Babies DVDs, I don't want them watching any of the crap they make today lol

  • This show was ALWAYS fun to watch! I love how Jim Henson had the cartoon combine with actual film footage for the imagination sequences. :) When you're a kid, your imagination really does feel that vivid. Both this show and the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip did a terrific job of capturing what it's like to be a kid. You can't help but be transported back to those days when you watch these! :) Long live the Muppets!

  • @deadlittlechildren 0-0 you've never watched the twilight zone!!!!

  • Oh thank you so much, this brings back great memories! Cartoons were so innocent, simple and well done unlike many modern day ones that rely on quick shots and lame, recycled storylines.

  • @sukmacack365 Yes, you don't get quality cartoons like this, back when they weren't so scared to show death or blood in a kid's show. Taught us morals and the bad effects of gun violence or smoking. I was watching the Secret of NIHM the other day and it was so dark, but so good. I really do miss shows like these that made kids use their heads and imagination. Out of the Box, Puzzle Place, SWAT Kats, Gargoyles, PBandJ Otter. My childhood rocked, I'm a proud 92 baby, I didn't miss the good stuff.

  • i use to watch this when i was a lil girl....

  • now all I need to do is get up at 6am on Saturday look up smurfs garfield tmnt and of course muppet babies etc. from 80's the best for morning cartoons load a bunch of you tube tabs and let my kids have a real saturday morning cartoon fest. Then I'll go back to bed. While they spill cereal on my carpet.

  • ah I remember this when I was like 8 or 7. I just miss the oldie Nick Jr. We used to have the best shit ever back then.

  • Man. I remember watching this show when I was around 5. Wow. That was 23 years ago. Brings back so many memories. Thanx for uploading.

  • how could this lady have a pet frog, bear, pig and dog living with eachother and other aliens?

  • @kett420 its the muppets lmao. they aren't pets. this is them when they were babies in a daycare.

  • Havn't seen this in more than 20 years and I remembered every line of diologue. Man how many times must I have watched this when I was a kid.

  • I want some more chocolates...and some bon bons, and ice cream sundae, some bubblgegum, and A DOUBLE CHESSEBURGER WITH FRIES!!!!!

  • long live the memories of childhood!

  • dam i miss this show it reminds me when i was growing up man those were the golden years wen they made real cartoons we need are shows back!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha I remember this episode. Man I feel old. I miss this show though.

  • That's wierd, in this episode, it sounds like Fozzie has a German accent...

  • I remember the early episodes Fozzie had a british accent.

  • Coming home from kindergarten, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while my mom slept for the midnight shift, and sitting down to watch Muppet Babies, Maya the Bee, and David the Gnome on Nick Jr. Those were days...

  • Gonzo sounds like Marge from the Simpsons

  • @squeak05870505

    same voice?

  • Animal was the best. What a great cartoon

  • aw piggy is so cute

  • How in the blue hell does nanny just leave the kids alone? She was a drunk!

  • Lucky landing for Piggy, huh?

  • The 80s were the best when it came to Saturday morning cartoons. I'm so glad to be born in that time and not way later.

  • LOL! When Animal bites the carpet

  • I grew up with this show, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Smurfs, Garfield and Friends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Inspector Gagdet, all of these great cartoons. This was when they knew how to make great and decent cartoons.

  • @megamanj2004X hell yeah! oh man i forgot about inspector gadet. :P i also watched the get along gang and man they even had better commercials! i remember i think it was a honeycomb commercial where they were all floating thru space and shit or it coulda been a bubble yum commercial.0-0 and shit they had commercials for books! lol the care bear books:P the lil kid with the cast on his foot and the book comes to life hehe. yeah good times :)

  • They just don't make cartoons like this anymore. I adored this show when I was a kid.

  • Downloaded the muppet babies 4 the kids to watch, since all they watch is that crap that they nowadays call cartoons!!!!muppet babies, bionic six, captain planet and the planeteers-those were cartoons worth watching!!!!!!!!!!

  • We learned way more than modern day children with this show!

  • Animal was an insane lunatic in the episode, this was the one episode where animal for once needs to STFU.XD

  • that's one strong baby!

  • a policeman is a nocturnal like a bat

  • Moral of this episode: BE QUIT OR GO TO JAIL

  • dang this use to be my favorite show as a kid

  • I love this. But the later episodes are better. There voices are cuter and they're cuter.

  • Fozzy sounds like he has some sort of foreign accent. he says "you're going to hit him with the piano" like this "Yorrr goeeng too heet heem weeta piahnoh?"

  • these are still embedded into my memory, even after 20 years!

  • Fozzy: What if he spreads chunky peanut butter all over our faces and forgets the grape jelly!

    Everyone: What?

    Fozzy: Nevermind!

Fozzy sounds so much like me! LOL I can't count the times I've said crazy stuff not having to do with the subject and people looked at me like "what?" and then me, "nevermind!"

I bet all of us children of the 80s can pick one of the babies we're most alike.

  • 2:02 LOL at how she yanks up her pants and they fall right back down again

  • Wow, Rowlf's pretty strong for a baby! Also, Animal, in the earlier episodes at least, looks more crazy and wild, and more like the adult Animal than the later episodes.

  • lol. thats exactly what i thought.

  • @kaiserwilhelm:Trailer trash in the YouTube room.

  • LOL!!

  • Haha "we need to shut him up, not crack him up".

    Lol, priceless!

  • So glad that I found these episodes to show my daughter who has never seen them before. Thanks for posting them on your channel!

  • they can't play cartoon's like this anymore.

"it's teaching kids how to do dangerous stunts with rollerskates!" America sucks now.

  • Wooow...Muppet Babies reminds me of when i was in daycare.

    Memories...*tear* lol

  • @TheRealBazookaLOVE aaawww bless your cutest darlin that was soo sweet i use to watch this as a pee wee baby on satuarday in america in new yor on channel 2 dont ask me the time i just knew it came on then lol

  • I remember that episode. <3

  • Besides Blue's Clues, Muppet Babies is one of my top 5 favorite TV shows.

  • piggy is just plain stealing fozzie's wooden sword 7:34

  • dude thats horrible!!!!!

    funny though

  • who does the voice of nanny?

  • Barbara Billingsley, the mom from Leave it to Beaver.
