Looking back does anyone else think that Baby Animal had ADD? If he did, it's a good thing that there was never an episode where Nanny contemplated putting him on ridilin, as that would be a controversal episode.
I like this ep it shows just how cute the Muppets were when they were little. the Muppet babies were in Muppets take Manhattan in miss piggy's fantasy. there should be a novel about the Muppets who else agrees?
I can't believe how identical Baby Animal looks like a girl in my town, the only difference is that Baby Animal wear a hat! Lol
Btw: This brings back so many memories! I LOVED this show! I wish it was out on DVD, but I read somewhere that because of all the different movie clips and things they can't get all the permissions needed...
@nolanjuice84 Actually, Rowlf is voiced by Katie Leigh who was not a part of The Simpsons at all; Nelson is voiced by Nancy Cartwright who also does Bart. Coincidentally, though, Russi Taylor who performs the voice of Gonzo is also the voice of Martin and Uter on The Simpsons.
At 3:53 Fozzie says "What if he spreads chunky peanut butter all over our faces and forgets the grape jelly?" What the fuck does that have to do with anything? God,is Baby Fozzie on crack or something?
I used to love this show! I miss the old cartoons....:(
Does anybody remember the Dinosaurs show? I can't even remember what it was called...I think it was just called Dinosaurs. With the little baby one? *sigh* What the hell happened to these?
Baby Rowlf clearly was on steroids. NO WAY he could lift up the ENTIRE couch with THREE muppets on it naturally. And for that matter, why is Baby Rowlf the only one doing the lifting??? Does not seem far!
two things i've noticed one barbara changed the way she did nanny it seems to me i could be wrong after a few one these and fozzy got a different voice actor also and THIS TOON IS ONE OF JIM HENSON'S last things he was fully able to work on and ANYBODY WHO SAYS it sucks IS FULL OF it THANK YOU

I used to watch this and David the Gnome as a kid. I agree with everyone; they don't make cartoons like they used to! I am really glad I found these. I will be sure to show my niece, who is 6, when she comes to visit.
@laceymarie1987 haha seriously. This was always on when I was a kid. And now I've got nephews who 8 and 6 and what they watch is just...just awful. When I have kids, it's gonna be Sesame Street and Muppet Babies DVDs, I don't want them watching any of the crap they make today lol
This show was ALWAYS fun to watch! I love how Jim Henson had the cartoon combine with actual film footage for the imagination sequences. :) When you're a kid, your imagination really does feel that vivid. Both this show and the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip did a terrific job of capturing what it's like to be a kid. You can't help but be transported back to those days when you watch these! :) Long live the Muppets!
Oh thank you so much, this brings back great memories! Cartoons were so innocent, simple and well done unlike many modern day ones that rely on quick shots and lame, recycled storylines.
@sukmacack365 Yes, you don't get quality cartoons like this, back when they weren't so scared to show death or blood in a kid's show. Taught us morals and the bad effects of gun violence or smoking. I was watching the Secret of NIHM the other day and it was so dark, but so good. I really do miss shows like these that made kids use their heads and imagination. Out of the Box, Puzzle Place, SWAT Kats, Gargoyles, PBandJ Otter. My childhood rocked, I'm a proud 92 baby, I didn't miss the good stuff.
now all I need to do is get up at 6am on Saturday look up smurfs garfield tmnt and of course muppet babies etc. from 80's the best for morning cartoons load a bunch of you tube tabs and let my kids have a real saturday morning cartoon fest. Then I'll go back to bed. While they spill cereal on my carpet.
