draft horses are awesome...i kinda know from experience since i help out at a Percheron breeding farm in ohio. one thing i've learned is that when you're having a crappy day they will always try to cheer you up depending on the horse though:P

We have rescued a couple from the east coast,  yet not sure actually of their history. I believe there is a facility that solely rescues carriage horses from NY. Our horses go to many different places as we have 3 adoptiong programs for them. Many of us, including myslef, keep our horses after they ar reitred. See peeba76's videos of her farm where our horses vacation and where many have been retired to. Our horses are not "sad, lost or dull". They are perfectly happy. a horse at rest will often cat nap and look sad. But, horses dont have facial expressions. and our horses get vet care, food, box stalls, vacation and love!

we have 9 resuce horses we dont have enuff room for any more sadly we dont resive any money or dontoins, people from around the aera come and bush and treat the horses tho the one that can be rode will let people have a sit on so they no no to be scared of them im only 15 but as soon as a can i would like to reasue horses from meat.l the horses we have now have found there for ever home

this is great. i rescued my mare from slaughter in ohio. we saved her and her half sister. They were both also PMU mares. it sad how someone can do horrible things to such loving animals.
