I love this video! This is the best footage I've seen of a subaru wrc car driven in anger; hands down! The audio, video,and car just pushes all the right buttons. I think the biggest part of this; is the gravel set up on tarmac. You can see the car work without the resistance of gravel. VERY VERY COOL!!!

Most Prodrive WRC cars dont run a BOV. It uses what is commonly referred to as a "Rocket" chamber. Extra manifold pressure is stored in a pressure vessel, then when the throttle is lifted, its injected into the exhaust just before the turbo, keeping it spooled. The chirping you hear is that air smacking the impeller blades keeping the turbo spooled w/o the bang-bang most commonly associated with an anti-lag system.
