  • I'm new at this and yours is the first how to that warms my heart with the CLEAN area and explanations! Can't wait to view second video. Thanks.

  • @Arlene2292 Thank you for the view.

  • Ty for the vid. I did not know about the dawn in the scalding water. Again VERY nice set of videos.

  • @trasWow You are very welcome.

  • @Ziva4Freedom ANd look how well you turned out! I still enjoy them. Thanks Ziva.

  • Boy I wish I had one of those feathering machines. I always had to hand pluck which is not fun at all. Looking forward to seeing it all in action. Blessings!

  • @BexarPrepper I know EXACTLY what you mean. This machine saves a lot of time as well as effort. God Bless.

  • Thank you for the video.. I have been thinking about raising chickens for meat as well as eggs starting next spring. This video was a great help. Looking forward to the actual butchering vids. By the way how long do you raise your chickens for? Thanks

  • @emrcon Thanks for the view. I prefer to butcher at 4 weeks old and put 2 per bag. The smaller birds are like Cornish hens. This year they are 5 weeks old and weigh an average of 4 pounds with the tops at 5 1/2 pounds.

  • I remember doing this stuff with my grandparents. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know it must be a pain in the butt trying to hold the camera and do your work at the same time. Thanks again!

  • @juscallmemick There is alot of people who asked me to do this so I know it is helping someone. No problem as long as it is useful. Thanks for the post.

  • I agree on the value of a picker. Mines different than yours but the best money I ever spent.

  • @butcherbls You know this even better than I do. Time saver for sure.

  • what an excellent system Steve. Great stuff:)

  • @HalfQ Thanks my friend.

  • What an outstanding treasure of information! I'm already taking notes! Your an angel.

    Thank you, Sheila

  • @Sheila6325 Very kind words Shelia. Thank you for taking interest.

  • Woosie is a signal, and this will really help. 1 quart of water, 6 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, stir until disolved. Drink at least 1 cup, then in small doses, no less than 2 oz. for as long as you feel "woosie" This will QUICKLY rehydrhate you, and make you feel a LOT better. It's just replacing what you have lost.

This will help you get through the day, and should be done all day while in the sun

    .

  • @Sheila6325 I listened to you and took your advice for future reference. Thanks Shelia.

  • @sebagosteve Luckily we topped out at 101 today but the humidity is just awful. We finally got a little rain around 8pm and it really cooled things off.... for tonight haha. Thanks again
