Thanks! Well, I recorded myself using my Microsoft Life Cam VX6000. I then took that footage, and put it together in my Magix Movie Studio 14 Pro software. That was it really. I made it in one night, in about 3 hours. I only recorded 1 take of each part. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

I think for the christmas song I will still do a 3 part harmony. I've been thinking about redoing the Andrew Sisters Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy which has amazing harmonies. I swear I've seen a video where there was the 3 andrew sisters and 2 others singing a 5 part version of the song. I've been trying to pick out by ear listening to the recording of it over and over again but I think I've almost got it to be able to record. Wish me luck! :)

Thank you for the encouragement :) It took a bit of guts just to sing solo like this for the first time for a video. I think I'll make videos like this for the holidays for the rest of this year, and next. I missed july 4th, so the next holiday is Labor Day. Hmmm well, it's going to take some research to see if there are any songs for labor day. :) If you have a suggestion for this years christmas (not carol of the bells because theslyestfox takes the cake on that one) let me know. :)

Thanks! I created this in my Magix Movie Edit Pro. I currently have version 14 of that software. I recorded my footage separately through my webcam, while listening back to the previous recording to sing along too. Then, I took the footage, cut it up, and synched it onto 3 separate layers in my program so that they would be displayed at the same time on the screen. Then just added titles, ending credits, and exported. Let me know if you need help more detailed than that. They are fun to make!

You may want to invest in Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 which allows you (like I did) to record yourself on video. That way you could show the 'choir of you' in each box. That software allows up to 99 tracks to use. I'm trying another video with me playing 5 instruments but I'll have to try maybe another singing video of myself. Now I just have to figure out a song. Maybe cell block tango. I love chicago too!
