i Think Bruce himself compared the two versions perfectly. He said his solo version is more "slinky" whereas the Maiden version "just goes for it". Both versions are great in their own ways, the solo version is creepier, whilst the Maiden version goes straight for the jugular. I think the Maiden version just slightly edges it for me, as the final chord sounds positively evil on that one! xD

Holy hell!! Never heard this version before, and I've got to say... it's GREAT! I liked some of the effects they used on the maiden version, but the drums and bass sound much more solid and polished (in a good way, for once) here.. and no, I'm not talking shit about steve and nicko (I'm a huge fan of maiden), but something wasn't quite right on the no prayer album, for that type of music. The drums on fotd were much heavier.. My opinion, of course..
