  • The reference I made was at a time when people who read what I write would have known what the Dawson's Creek Think Tank is. It's a mythical community of over-privileged pseudo-intellectual college kid "posers" sitting in over-priced coffee houses, sipping mochachinos and dreaming up ways to tear down post modernity. When they ultimately graduate, they are snapped up as errand messengers between Fox and Youtube and are ultimately responsible for videos being taken down. Now that makes me cold!

  • Oh, BTW, I was just kidding about my commentary/review of this vid. But I thought it was just funny and a refreshing change from usual humdrum. I see it in my own way & it's this: It's a mockery of sorts. And I like mocking the status quo. I despise it. Oh do I despise it. Always have. (Are you hot yet?)

  • I can't explain it mrlantern. As for post modernity it basically is an interpretation of the world and our experience within it that invites subscribers to this view to question both their substantial and insubstantial reality sufficiently so, that some post modern existentialists would have you believe that none of us exist. Your appreciation of artistic expressionism "The Scream" - meets- post modern existentialism "The Deflating Scream" together with your empathy as it deflates was hot, OK.

  • Well I kinda find intelligent and artistically expressive woman kind of hot myself. Mesmerizing. That's why I liked Dawson' Creek but then it kinda started getting irritating. Because they were so young and yet so mature and intelligent. I would love to marry an older woman. The important thing is that she's happy, forgiving, understanding, responsible, and truly a good person. Is that too much to ask? In this world, I think it is. There are too many snakes around.

  • It could mean the death of depression. Yay!

  • i love it !!! where did you get it?.

  • 3:07 - 3:30 absolute genius.

And then 3:36-3:37 - stellar performance. *tears up*

    Bravo.

  • This is what I'm on about. A true appreciation of this video (even if it may have been a little tongue in cheek). It's an amazingly touching review of one of my favourite videos (permanently on the front page of my favourites... I just re-add it when I'm redoing the front page as I add other videos, anyway) In any event MrLantern, even after checking your channel which is otherwise riddled with rather convoluted theological debate (I'm just not into that)... I think I'm in love. *sigh*

  • In love? This could be a match made in heaven.

  • I didn't get far on your channel page. Did it mention a heaven? It mentioned your age. 28 is ten years my junior! LOL How did you come across this video and what possessed you to watch it all the way through and then what drove you to make such a detailed review complete with links... its just so post modern of you is all! Love is difficult to find in Youtube. Depression is the engine of this site! Maybe you should stick with depression but know you are well supported by people like m'self.

  • Yeah one of my vids does. But I was referring to you & me woman. I'm 33. This is an old acc/. dating back 2 a time when I thought privacy was a reality - so I tried hiding behind persona's - much to my surprise evey1 in this world is doing just that - it's epidemic. Anyways I remember finding you very expressive and articulate but in a cool way reminiscent of yep, Dawson's Creek. That's a compliment. Oh BTW, I do not suffer from depression. I was meaning worldwide. No more for anyone. Cont...

  • I can't remember how I came across this vid. I skipped through it as I often do w/vids and just looked for interesting parts, etc. It think love is something in rare supply in this day and age. And to be honest I haven't the foggiest idea what 'post modern' even means. Yeah, I'm 33 and I dunno what that means. You said you think you're "in love *sigh*", after looking at my channel. What did I do right - or as Pauline Hanson would say "please explain".

  • You have to watch it all the way to the end and it falls over. Rivetting stuff, especially for people stuck with Australian TV just looking for something more exciting to fill their sanguine hours. You see you can't get decent distribution to Australian TV if you're a decent production of virtually anything, so we're stuck with reality shows, game shows, inane soaps & dramas with excruciating acting and current affairs shows that would shame Jerry Springer. This is art by comparison Griffers.

  • Better ixnay on the pressextionay for a while Screamy, etigay? I suspect a delegation from the "Dawson's Creek Think Tank" must be in town. Now don't be like that. Flipping post, post, post modern existentialists! Hasn't poor Screamy been through enough! Now stop that Screamy. There he goes again. Well at least he's laying low.

  • I thought I would sit here until Youtube brings back that video montage of Richard O'Brien in the Ever After movie. 20th Century Fox has impounded it. It's a whole thing... yep *scroll*...it's still there isn't it?... yep. I may even just keep typing from time to time even if no one replies... People this is what Youtube will be like if studios life Fox get their way. *scroll* incidental music here never gets to the bridge does it? Ahh there he goes... Munch would be loving this sick. Great vid.

  • most boring video on youtube. On purpose lol
