Ive always loved comics, as I'm a mega science fiction fan. I rarely buy them anymore as I only like the nice cardboard glossy edition comics and $25.00 is alot. Tho I must say I bought a few of these tonight at the bookstore and the art is gorgeous, worth $80.00 for an hour of reading.. lol!

It started good but that last issue please can someone really explain to me how is it that Sentry (the guy that beat the living molecules of the Molecule Man) as it's revealed to be the Angel of Death killer of Ares and Loki get's beaten up by Thor and his magic lighting bolt??? This story's ending was rushed, give me the original Secret Wars or Crisis over this seven years in the making CRAP!

Only thing I hate about these events is guys like ghost rider(both johnny and danny),the hulk,punisher(kind of),and such never get involved much in them. With the recent work done on GR,johnny and danny could easily take down the Sentry and all of Osborn's avengers..Then again that's probably why they're not included haha,same goes for hulk.

seige, secret invasion, civil war, all the one shots, spin off mini series, spin off ongoing titles (that dont last) have all been set up for an event that happened 6 years ago and the plan was all along to restore the status quo of the classic avengers line up - talk about a clone sage style of story telling on steroids. I think the biggest devastation out of all of this was the death of the Punisher.  Without Frank Castle, there is no Marvel.

I like Marvel's current storylines for the simple fact that they don not simply re-hash past storylines( a la DC and the whole Infinate Crisis storyline, which is Crisis on Infinate Earths all over again...) but they bring about unexpected results and drastically change the foundation of the Marvel Universe
