@kplmedard I am strongly considering the priesthood. I am currently in pursue of my undergraduate degree in Theology at a Catholic university. How long would I be in the seminary if I recieve a BA in Theology and a Minor in Philosophy?
@dcaff330 Well, that's not be said so easily - depends a bit on the rector of the seminary and your experiences in faith and pastoral work of the Church, on the concrete things you've done in your Theology studies and - if you are heading for working in a parish - how your practical courses will be going.
@dcaff330 If you are interested in the priesthood, do contact a seminary appropriate to your consideration (diocesan/religious...) and talk to the responsibles there; you will normally not be involved too quickly, but carefully be prepared and given the chance to pursue your vocation quite thoroughly. Nevertheless - even if the formation takes quite a time - I strongly recommend to make this experience, for if you are really called by God that's a great gift to make use of at any rate!
is it easy to find a job after attending a graduate seminary school...

Im giving priesthood some thought, but i have a slight stutter, is this a big problem with the seminary and or the church?
