Great video! I have a Roland 100m and I've recently become very interested into turning it into a polyphonic beast! The mpu 101 looks pretty awesome. Would you recommend the 101 for my synth, or rather a newer midi to cv unit?
@XYtoTheDoubleG Thanks! Well, the MPU101 will have a few years of service and mine actually has a few quirks that need some attention. I'd rather just play so I should prefer a newer unit although I know few of those that are as comprehensive and yet as simple as the MPU101. So I can't really recommend either way. If you find something new that is as good, just go with it I guess :)
Groo-vee! I really need to start looking into MIDI-CV converters. Eventually I'm going to want one that can handle some kind of 4 note polyphony. Nice to see someone else giving it a go!

By the way, Doepfer are currently planning the 'A-190-5 Polyphonic Midi-to-CV/Gate Interface' A-100 module! :D

@bjcsupertortoise Cool thing! That's actually quite close to the MPU101 but in a neater package.

@emdotambient It is very useful and there are some nice offerings out there currently. The MPU101 I use here is particularly nice and easy to use!

@M0N0F0N Thanks, glad you like it! The sequence actually turned out nicer than I was hoping so I should do a recording of it for future uses I guess.
