This movie has easily earned it's place in my favourite movies list. The soundtrack is one of the many reasons why it made it there,but it's also the fantastic characters,and their relationships between each other that made me actually care about them and the plot that got me damn near crying towards the final act of it. Well done Disney,one of the few movies you've managed to get right,and when you get it right. Is it amazing...

this reminds me of back in the days when disney movies was drawn with a good story, now its all animated and with a story wich has repeted itself so many times that the 1st sec you watch is, you already know what the end brings :/

this movies will forever be in my top 5 as nr. 1, i grew up with this! :p :D

Just finised watching Treasure Planet for the very first time. Back when it came out in theatres years back, I thought it would something I'd never find interest in. Years later, I find it going for $13.00 at Wal-Mart and decide to give it a watch. I'm totally amazed, was left speechless even. A very compelling movie, very moving. I even shed a tear at one scene. The music was also just as amazing, I really want the soundtrack. Something new added to my Christmas list. =]

Yeah, this movie didn't get a lot of popularity when it first came out. You know those people out there that think space movies are dumb....yeah, too many people like that out there. (I'm an avid Star Wars fan so im not one of those people)

James Newton Howard composes the best scores! Even better than John Williams, in my opinion.

James Newton Howard seems to favor the brass section, lol. Anyways, I LOVE HIS MUSIC! lol
