  • Some valid points here.

  • excellent vid.seems clear to me that people who use the plug analogy are just bitter because their wife or girlfriend wont let them give her it up the ass, anal sex is awesome.

  • @pookster78 That's pretty much the gist of Wanda Sykes' comment at the end of her comedy monologue on "gay marriage".

  • Religious fundamentalists base their whole soteriology and moral framework on the premise that man needs Christ because man cannot OVERCOME his sinful, self-centered, lustful "animal nature" alone. Some even claim that only humans have souls. In much of Christian doctrine nature appears to be our enemy, not the divine expression of a Creator. That being the case, I wish they would at least be consistent and admit that heterosexuality is also a sin.

  • @caseyspaos I think the idea of sin is a construct to enslave people. Heterosexuality is not more a crime against fellow human beings than homosexuality. But we're expected to feel guilty about it. Where there is no harm done to another person or feeling creature, there is nothing to feel bad about.

  • @caseyspaos how is the need to live a sin? god created man and woman so they would reproduce. heck not just man and woman, near EVERY animal has to reproduce. you're ridiculous

  • @Lucky466 I am not ridiculous, fundamentalists' squeamishness about sex and human nature is.

  • you are soooo refreshing! i totally agree with you on not wasting time replying to dimwits. we can only hope that christianity goes out of fahion someday. Then we just have to put up with the people that just plain dont like gays without being under the influence of religion at all!

  • A talking snake is natural? Bodies rising from graves- natural? Hmm

  • @WeTheStrange Celibacy - natural? Man walking on water - natural? The "reasoning" - and I use the term loosely - applied to make sense of this rubbish is mind boggling to those who don't share the delusion.

  • @thatgaybloke Yes indeed.

  • HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT A SIN.REPARATIVE THERAPY IS DANGEROUS ACCORDING TO:

Amer. Academy of Pediatrics, Amer. Counseling Assn, Amer. Federation of Teachers,Amer. Medical Assn American Psychiatric Assn, American Psychological Assn, National Assn of School Psychologists,Nat'L Assn of Social Workers,Nat'l Assn of Secondary School Principals, Nat'l Education Assn, New Ways Ministries, American Way

  • @SmithsJoinGayRights Some ex-gay "therapist" quack has just been struck off here in the UK. Excellent news. Details on PinkNews dot Co dot UK site.

  • @LycaonsBane What would you know of brain-washing? the antidote to brain-washing is knowledge. My children see, on one side, the flood of pro-gay propaganda pumped incessantly through the media and videos like this one, but also know the subversions and agendas of the likes of Kinsey,Skinner, Ernst and Loth, Rene Guyon, Carnegie foundation etc. You think your truth is your own, conclusions of your own reasoning... in fact, your beliefs were engineered and prepared for you before you were born.

  • @LycaonsBane eeeeewwwww! Please don't send any more messages to me containing your perverse, sickening and utterly distorted misconception of reality. Some of us have children who use our computers that we don't want exposed to these lowest depths of human depravity. You only exist because of the social manipulation begun by the likes of Kinsey etc. Get a grip and try fighting for your manhood and your humanity.

  • Lord homosexuals can be so ignorant it kills me. Homosexuality is Unnatural!! It does not obey natural law. X is Unnatural therefor its wrong!!

Now what is the next thing that should come out of your mouth?

  • @bananabread119 There is no evidence that homosexual behaviour in human beings is "unnatural". Indeed there is plenty of evidence for the contrary - although I'm sure that you won't allow something as trifling as "facts" to contaminate your bigotry.

Yet even your bigoted argument is asinine. If something does not obey a natural law then it is wrong. Do you believe driving a car is wrong? Cooking food? Reading? Flying in an aeroplane? Wearing clothes? Going to the doctor for treatment?

  • @thatgaybloke LOL applause! Now stand and take a bow.

The Naturalistic fallacy: There are two fundamentally different types of statement: statements of fact which describe the way the world is, and statements of value which describe the way that the world ought to be. The naturalistic fallacy is the alleged fallacy of inferring a statement of the latter kind from a statement of the former kind. (Is/Ought Dichotomy)

Naturalistic fallacy: X is Unnatural therefor its wrong. (^_^

  • @bananabread119 Right - so just because something is "natural" doesn't mean it's right any more than something being "unnatural" means it is wrong. Right and wrong are morality judgements. It depends on the criteria you use to evaluate whether you believe something is right or wrong.

  • @bananabread119

    Says the stupid shmuck.

  • Nothing but ad hominem attacks this guy in this video throws out there

  • In my mind, I truly believe that gay people are awesome and they serve a purpose which is to lower the population. If everyone was not gay then there would be way to many people. I could be wrong but just a thought I had, and I really think I'm onto something with this theory.

  • Actually, there are homosexual animals in the animal kingdom.

  • what i don't understand is why u act like a satanic fairy? Women don't talk like that.

  • Why cant I find any serious claims to this :(

I like to tell people they're being idiots.

  • The unnaturalness of a desire to put your willy in the conduit clearly designed for the expelling of poo, seems pretty self evident to me. Despite all the shonky logic laden justification. And I think everyone gets this guy is not a big fan of fasting.

  • homosexualism is desgusting unnatural anti-conception. and in it self cant survive.

  • WTF? stfu and hit the damn gym...

  • Natural is the wrong word. It's not normal. Homosexuals shouldn't be given the opportunity to raise children simply because they can't have children. Homosexuality is just as normal as autism. If you want to call it love whatever, I don't give a crap.

  • @br00tald00dz

Perhaps, infertile people should not be given the opportunity to raise children. I could think of parents that probably should not have been allowed to raise children. You think that homosexuality is "not normal"? What about red hair? Why do you compare it to autism? So normal is whatever is in the majority? Hterosexuality is not love, neither is homosexuality, love exists on its own and it can exist in opposite or same sex relationships.

  • Nice points. I compared it to autism because autism is a neurological disorder, red hair is genetic so you can't compare that.

  • @br00tald00dz Homosexuality is not a neurological disorder, it does not indicate a decrease in mental function or any other symptoms. The act of sex can result in reproduction, but sexuality itself is a basic social behaviour present from infancy, animals also fuck for fun and social development. Social connection is a part of a species collective survival. Rape, incest and paedophilia however are signs of mental illness, and the act causes victim and criminal end up with psychological trauma.

  • @br00tald00dz You raise valid questions, you don't cause offence but I think your definition of unnatural is based on conventions more that nature itself. Consider that the human species can impartially judge what is natural or not by the idea of trauma. Events, behaviour and acts which are fundamentally damaging to our species regularly result in physical harm or Post Traumatic Stress and other neurosis. Behaviour therapy doesn't work on homosexuals because there is nothing there to cure.

  • @br00tald00dz

    Thank you for putting this.

  • First and foremost, most every animal species has a portion of homosexual tendencies. When they point to nature, they simply point their lack of knowledge on the subject. If one is going to argue, one should be versed in the arguement. I walk by the WTC everyday and have to hear ignorant people argue building specs and engineering. Not a single one of these fools are engineers themselves...

  • Quite - the root of the argument is "I don't like behaviour X (for whatever reason) therefore it is unnatural". No evidence or reason is being applied.

  • @thatgaybloke Right so now you know it has a name. "Naturalistic fallacy" X is unnatural therefor immoral violates the Is-Ought dichotomy. Its an equivocation to say that Metaphysical distinctions are Ethical.

There is a difference between the statement "this is an Apple" and "I throw an apple at someone" One is Metaphysical statement the other is an applied statement ie. Ethical.

  • After trying to be heterosexual for decades in a marriage and with a bunch of significant others (not at the same time), not realizing why it all just seemed so wrong, I have a lot to say about what's natural. What a relief to stop acting and to do what felt true and right and honest. This has nothing to do with the term 'natural' as used by stubby-brained people, but then I suppose they all catch and raise all their own food and don't use medicines to cure their ills, so they should know.

  • Or a car to transport them around. Or electricity to power their computers on the Internet....

  • @laraesque It is good that you finally came out to yourself. Hopefully you are in a country that accepts you and where you can enjoy full equal rights, unlike here in the USA.

  • Cool graphics!!!

  • "If it too much effort i would just give it up and go have a pie"

fucking fantastic quote, and a philosophy i wholeheartedly agree with.

  • You attack something when you are calling it what you are calling it. Just because you don't subscribe to the theory does not make it any less valid. I do not subscribe to Christianity, yet Christians have yet to show they are anything but close minded people.

  • I really do not have a clue what you are talking about.

  • I have had this argument so many times with christians who pop over to my channel to spread a little hatred. They quote this chapter and that verse at me in an effort to enlighten me, and I tell them to please go read *any other book* that doesn't have 'bible' written on its cover, in an effort to educate them. But I guess education is just unnatural to them...

  • I think that education is counter productive to any religious belief. Education teaches people to question and form their own opinions. Once you start doing that to religious scripture it unravels pretty quickly.

  • True enough.

  • Typical Gay hate on Gay. Why bother attacking a video that tries to make a point even if you don't agree with it? Comments work just fine, unless you really want to show your facial expressions or lack there of.

  • What attack? I'm agreeing with the lunacy of the argument that being gay is "unnatural" and that ludicrous two plugs example.

  • Well said!

  • the only point I disagree with you is that I think interaction, especially on youtube, is always a good thing. You don't know if there is some gay boy out there who has been beat down by the same nonsense, and watchin a video on youtube is the only way for him to realize anything, so don't ever admonish anyone for debunking bunk.

  • It wasn't my intention to come across as rebuking Bryan's video.

  • Quite interresting thoughts. :)

  • 5 stars for the Stargate opening alone. I've never understood the "gay is unnatural" argument. I mean, if it's so unnatural, than why does it happen so much in nature? I guess people are just good at rationalizing thing away when it conflicts with there world view.

  • I think the "against nature" argument is pretty much the same as the "against God" argument - a call to authority. Nature vs. god - one being a metaphorical construct created to represent a force that doesn't really exit,as opposed to a metaphorical construct created to present a force that doesn't really exist.

  • Wonderful, concise, stuff, as usual. The humanity of your words should give a moments pause for any who claim a divine mandate on morality, while displaying so little that is moral. Peace.

  • Just wonderful good sense, as ever, on this topic. And, by the way, what a stunning introduction to the video - may I say!

  • I wasn't that happy with the water effect but it took ages to render so I took after God's example and thought - "ah fuck it, that'll have to do".

  • It IS ironic that people complaining about homosexuality being "unnatural" are simultaneoulsy attempting to inject unnatural explanations into to science curricula.

  • Expecting logic from them is probably setting the bar a little high for them, though.

    :-)

  • first of STARGATE!!!!! xP

and its unnatural to say that homosexuality is unnatural.

    :)

  • Speaking of Abraham... Does anyone else find it suspicious how Lot was hanging around him just a little too much?

  • I get tired of pointing it out to homophobes, but you can actually allow them the assumption that homosexuality is "unnatural" and it still doesn't legitimise their prejudice one iota. Discrimination on the basis of purported "choices" that have no quantifiable implication for anyone but those directly involved is no more legitimate than discrimination on the basis of inherent traits. And since no homophobe I've ever encountered can rationally quantify how the free practice of homosexuality...

  • ...affects them or anyone but the individuals involved without resorting to the most spurious assertions, they quite frankly need to start getting some better material if they want anyone of genuine critical capacity to even begin engaging with them in a meaningful manner.

    George

  • This is very true. Even if homosexuality was a choice, then who are they to discriminate. A free society should be about freedom of choice for the individual.

  • I think a lot of the people that are against homosexuality just don't like it. They don't even have to be Religious either. I don't like looking at it, but why should I care? What people do in their own private life makes no fucking difference to me. I think a lot of it is people just thinking it's "disgusting", which I understand. You shouldn't have to be gay to support gays though.

Which is why I'm a happy straight male who will gladly support gays!

  • Both homosexual and lesbian acts occur in the animal kingdom ie It is natural, but it doesn't mean I've got to like it, in fact I think it's gay............. apart from the lesbian stuff this seems perfectly understandable to me

  • LOL.

  • LOL this video was delicious :) you are so fucking awesome!

  • LOL puking penguins

I'll reckon I'll always be thinking of that story when I double up the plugs from now on. Actually, I did a daisy chain of plugs one christmas before I found out that it was dangerous and I could wind up burning down the tree...and the house. Wonder what that preacher would have said about those plugs.

  • "Just be really thankful you never had sex with him."

LOL. Indeed. As John Corvino says, if one is doing it that way ::pushing two index fingers together:: then one is doing it wrong.

  • LOL at the closing line. It's only funny because it's true.

  • wow taht last one ws a bit bitter

  • When you're talking about a group of people who have worked to deprive others of basic rights, who are quick to judge and condemn, who tell people that their dead family members have gone to hell, then I think it's a fair statement to say that these people are lacking in compassion.

  • you make a damn good point

  • So do you - it was just a little bitchy :-)

  • In fact its a very bad idea for a homophobe to look at the animal kingdom for guidelines, as homosexuality is actually just as common, if not more so than amongst humans. Also coincidently, I'm supposed to be looking at Anselms ontological argument for a class test tomorrow, thanks for reminding me!!

  • Loving the pie gag. You're so dry, D, so so DRY! x

  • I used to judge gay people.(even hate) But after i finally de-converted completely from Christianity and opened my eyes I came to understand the choice of their lifestyle. It is the right of free choice. Don't judge somebody because he/she is not like you.

What still bothers me are those mainstream gay clichés on tv and the internet.

  • It's not so much a choice as just being who we are. Gay people don't choose to be gay any more than straight people choose to be straight.

  • I understand you completely, and I meant no disrespect or insult. I am not a native English speaker so maybe I expressed myself wrong but I am sure you get the picture.

  • @thatgaybloke Well there are the Fred Phelps types who apparently chose to be straight. Blew my mind when he said "All men have gay urges and need to conquer them." I was all "Wait did you just say you're really gay, or are you saying I'm not a man because I just like women?" Either way I was amused at this hatemonger outing himself.

  • That's really quite astounding. He really is thicker than two short ones.
