Multipurpose cars are the best and most fun to watch. I've seen some of the other video from the event; it's great to see people driving their cars hard...like they're supposed to be driven! I'm looking for a Fairmont/Zephyr box top...hope to find a nice one this coming year.
Oversteer seems to be an issue; in the 2nd half it looks like you're running on wet pavement or ice. Of course, if that's your 500 hp in car video, the power might have something to do with that. What have you done for chassis/handling performance? I love seeing a Fairmont doing autocross! Great car-please post more video.
Yeah, the suspension setup is not ideal for autocross/slalom. Those 255 60 15 rear tires are not ideal either...The car is a multipurpose machine, a compromise between a drag/topspeed/power touring7street vehicle. At this event it did quartermile in 11.00 secs at 124 mph.
