i would necessarily say that...the NDA and the UDA are similar...although the UDA has more categories does not make it more prestigous...have you seen the BYU Cougarettes National Routine last year??? it was amazing! Although i really have to give it to Minnesota for the POMS! YOU GUYS ROCK AT THAT!!! But with precision dance, contemporary dance, and jazz, BYU was always the ones people look forward to seeing...just saying

@prezmikey Well I typed the NDA routine from last year into Youtube and it only has around 6,000 views. Minnesota's jazz routine from 2010 has over 140,000. There's no contest about who's better. Everyone knows that Minnesota is one of the best in Jazz. If not the best.  And Tennessee is good too.

Also the BYU routine seemed more 'hip/hop' kind of jazz. I consider jazz to be more lyrical, and less fast moving.

Minnesota has the best school dance teams BY FAR! The only reason no one knows how good we are is because most school teams compete under MSHSL and that league does not allow teams to compete in competitions outside of Minnesota.

i love this routine, but has any noticed the middle girl near the end of the routine who goes into a high V while everyone else is going out. YOu don't notice it since she's already in the middle...lucky girl!

Whats the difference between the UDA and the NCA/NDA ? I saw on FSN the dance competition for 2010 and it was like Louisville and BYU going for the championships. Is one more prestigious than the other?

@erdtluver OCC pom blows this routine out of the water.....Look at what comes out of Cali. you have OCC, Fullerton,Long Beach, Davis and all the way down to high school with LOSAL, Rosary, Mater Dei....the list goes on and on.

@armyengnr2004 Minnesota has the U of M, St. Thomas, Mankato, Morehead for college and Eden Prairie Pom, Eastview (High Kick), Maple Grove, Wayzata, Burnsville (High Kick).

There is no doubt that MN has better dance teams.
