Granted, this is only a sitcom, but it's sad that talk radio today is worse than this exaggerated version from 20 years ago.
I'm guessing that the light beer gag toward the end was a reference to the Bud Light campaign from around that time.
I'm surprised this isn't a Christmas episode. They apparently didn't produce one, which is odd; since nearly every family sitcom has managed to do at least one Christmas show.
i've never seen this show before. it just happened to be on the list of videos recommended for me and now that i've actually watched some of it i love it. 80's and 90's shows are so much better than the crap that's on tv nowadays.
I recently found an episode of this on a tape that I bought of old episodes of The Tonight show with Johnny Carson.
I was only able to watch part of it because all of those tacky day-glo neon colors were hurting my eyes. ;) (No offense to all you 80's fans out there)
If anybody can tell me how, I'd be more than happy to upload it onto this here youtube thingie.
@Chub4ChubsRule, I'm not quite sure what you mean by tacky day-glo neon colors. 80's media, whether film or videotape looked pretty naturalistic to me. These days with things being shot in digital HD, color contrasts are at retina searing levels, and nobody on screen even looks human anymore, but rather like raidioactive plastic mannequins; Lazytown is the norm now. "Free Spirit" looks like a David Lean production in comparison, so your observation seems kind of strange.
I've never seen this show before, but it popped up as a related video, and I am so excited that it did! It's excellent. Thanks for posting. I hope you get your technology all sorted out.
Free Spirit was the beginning of my crush on Alyson Hannigan. I tuned in of course cause it was a supernatural comedy and I love anything supernatural even sitcoms. I was also a big fan of The Charmings another short lived show
I first remember Corinne Bohrer in Police Academy 4:Citizens On Patrol,2 and a half years prior to this.I'm surprised Free Spirit made it even as far as December the17th in the 1989-90 season!

I have had a crush on Corrine Bohrer since the 80's. I never saw this show. I think I was overseas at the time.

@landrykkb Cori was in both Police Academy 4 and Revenge of the Nerds 4 but wasn't in either of the original films in those series.
