People,if you're scared about him saying you can't save,let me explain.In this game,you can save all data except ghost replay data.The reason is that the original N64 version stored ghost data in the N64 Controller Pak.No more Pak,no more saving ghost data.

@TheSignatureK which version did you play? I played the N64 one and there isn't that much differences between the VC and N64 in term of graphics.

@rupell42 most games if not all should save just use the home button and click on the wii menu for nes and snes saves and n64 only if its on the game and thats all i know

Have you played the original N64 version of this? Unfortunately the emulation is really buggy, especially when playing 4 player split screen. :( The later stages run at a higher frame skip to keep it from slowing down, but by doing this the make it really choppy and near impossible to take smooth turns like on the n64.

the thing that stinks about this game is that you cant unlock anything but if you could that would make the game much better.

Think about if Mario Kart 64 would have online multiplayer when you buy it on Virtual Console.
