  • Took me awhile to get used to my VP70Z DA only once i got it down it was great!!

  • If you are right handed and shooting low and to the left the only thing you need to do to correct the shooting problem is too... Place you left pointing finger along the frame, just below the slide, and gently push toward the center of the target while aiming so that you have equal pressure at the center of the gun. Practice this first with single action and them move on to double action. Good luck.

  • @SonsOfLiberty65, I hear you man, I really like your taste in firearms. As for me, I have a Glock 19, Beretta 92FS, Beretta Px4 storm (40 cal), HK P30 (40 cal) Sig Sauer P220 (45 acp) im getting two more( HK 45,357 S&W) and im done for a while.

  • I have a 9mm P30S (V3) that I love,. When I first got it I shot low left too. I had to spend some time on the range with it so I could figure out how to unf**k my bad shooting habits. Now a few hundred rounds later me and my pistol have a very good understanding of each other.

  • Actually let me correct that it was medium on the outside strap, small on the inside and medium on back the put me on target.

  • It was most likely the side and back straps that were changing your point of impact. I thought the same thing when I purchased this gun but after playing with it a couple times at the range a medium strap on right side small on left side and medium on back put me on target. Any other variant of any of the straps changed my POI dramatically , far left, far right, low and and left etc. You really need to try all possible configuration to find the perfect mix, not always "small or med all around'

  • what song is that playing in the intro of this vid? i like it!

  • @darwinner007 its called train 45 by Woody Guthrie. Your the first person to ask

  • Dude, slow down when making your impulse buys. Make sure you'll be happy with it and, ITS WHAT YOU WANT!

  • You just need practice. Accuracy is all you. Accuracy is all on the shooter.

  • It has taken me a long time to get used to the LEM/DA only trigger. I have 5 HK's and I heard everyone say that the LEM is the best so I got one of the LEM triggers and like you I thought I had bad ammo, or something I shot like shit, but really I just needed a lot more practice with it. Just keep working with it. Ryan

  • Sure is a pretty gun but if it doesnt shoot well for you then move on. I like what you traded it for though

  • @TheFireArmGuy thanks a lot! i love what i traded it for and im now in a S&W revolver mood. Ive been watching dirty harry too. I need a 29-2 just like his

  • I agree on giving it back to that dealer... thats bs bro... usp 45 compact is the way to go!

  • Oh yeah bro, low and left is common. Just train, try stuff out. You'll become fantastic with it!! :)

  • The funny this about this video is that the LEM trigger is typically preferred for competition matches (i.e. superior accuracy) over the DA/SA yet this guy thinks he'll shoot better with the DA/SA. Maybe he's not putting enough time into it. The DA/SA is usually preferred over LEM for civilian CCW purposes (myself included).

  • I'm surprised HK answered the phone, they usually don't talk to us regular lowly peasants, they are more concerned with sales to military and police and selling combat weapons to African insurgents trying to overthrow a corrupt govt.

  • The way I got used to a LEM trigger was 2 mag dumps. And then slow fire, I mean super slow. I had a USPC 40 LEM as my first pistol, I know the P30 has a longer reset, but, all it is, slow steady squeeze. Maybe it was just a bad day?

  • @navyman8903 if you told me that earlier i might have kept it

  • @SonsOfLiberty65, dont you have a Glock 21?

  • @2ndamendrights i did but i trade guns like a crazy man. in fact the only guns i still own are my colt anaconda HK USP C, and my SCAR 17. I am getting a HK MK 23 in two weeks

  • @2ndamendrights i forgot i owned this gun lol im deff going to get another one, next time im going to make sure its a V1

  • I own a p30 in .40 (DA/SA) and love it. I shot like crap (low left) when i started with it. It just takes getting used to the p30 trigger in general. Even the DA/SA on the p30 isn't as nice as the hk45 trigger. I found that I shot alot better with the large backstrap and large right sidestrap to keep less finger on the trigger. hkpro.com is a great site to check out if you haven't already.

  • Has a hk uspc 9mm, couldn't shot it well.

  • @CarlRF99 used to have I meant to say.

  • @CarlRF99 You also can't use proper grammar or tense.

  • @navyman8903 Was in hurry, nothing against HK ;)

  • Also, go back to the gunstore you bought this from and punch your dealer in the face. Hard.

  • @perspicacity89 lololol i should, but i traded this gun today for something very sweet. i am not longer upset because my new gun is so nice

  • @SonsOfLiberty65 Sweet! Show us what it is.

  • @perspicacity89 its not anything like the HK. The video is uploading

  • @COLT45keith HK can physically not change the trigger system without modifications to the frame. It isn't the same make up as the HK45. There is nothing wrong with the LEM trigger. IT is all trigger control and training. Don't put out bad info.

  • @navyman8903 you honestly think they made 4 different P30s? what bad info, LEM trigger is perfect "if your a cop"

  • @COLT45keith You're not serious with that answer right? The LEM is the name that HK chose for the DAO system, Police in europe use it, but it doesn't mean it is restricted or needed to be an LEO pistol. And yes they did make 4 different frames. If you look at the back of a V3 P30 there is a decocker, with a notch in the frame to accommodate it. If you delete the decocker there will be a gap, and to add one you must make the notch in the frame. That is why HK doesn't mod P30's or the P2000's.

  • @navyman8903 LEM=Law Enforcement Modification.

your probably right. it would be to hard for a firearm manufacturer to notch the frame of a pistol they built

  • @COLT45keith I know what LEM stands for bro, my first pistol was a USPC 40 LEM, I had it for 4 years. It was a great pistol, and it shot very fast once I got the trigger reset down. And they don't want to cut the frame because they made other frames. Germans are very accurate with stress measurements and engineering, if they tell me they won't do it on P2000's or P30's I will trust their word/work. They will do the LEM to DA/SA or vice versa with USP's and HK45/c's no problem.

  • Chuck this POS.

  • @perspicacity89 POS really? I would love to see what you think is a well made gun then.

  • @navyman8903 HKs are quality, but the fact that he didn't get what he wanted sucks. I guess Im taking it out on the gun. Whatever.

  • I have two of them with the LEM trigger and like it a lot. I wish they had safeties though.

  • Me personally I'd never go DA only with an HK but thats just me. you might wanna check with more than one gun shop / distributor next time. The only HK's I've seen at shops and show are DA/SA versions.
