The base place is just ground smooth so the binding spins freely. It is also done in the "let go get lost" video

if yuo knew anything about snowboarding you'd know jermy jones rides for burton and they dont have baseplates. he ride est bindings so he only need's one of the two bolts in and it'll spin freely.

O well pardon me assuming and making a simple mistake... But when this trick first appeared two years ago that is how it was done. And for your information I have been riding for 12 years and teaching professionally for two so I know quite a bit about snowboarding.

@alealv23 Actually if YOU knew anything you'd know that with the est system they have retro fit disks that allow you to ride a traditional binding & that IS how Jeremy did this.
