  • No disrespect but that was god fucking awful! Ithink you may have your history a little mixed up, no?

  • is there anyway to get in touch with the unit to join? are they in the north east area?

  • Most of these guys are in NY/NJ/Connecticut area, some closer to DC, etc.

  • anyway of getting in touch with the unit?

  • Was the eating of the haggis also a re-enactment?

  • Well, it was real haggis that was eaten.

  • Black Watch is a former Scottish Regt. But there is sofar I know still a Irish Guards Regt.

But Minstrell Boy is an Irish tune... adopted by the Unionist troops during Civil War and today used in several parades in the USA... A good tune, and very understandable that all Pipers like to play it... I do myself :-) Good Post indeed

  • Ummm, isn't it the Scottish Black Watch guards, not Irish?

  • That was just a quick title--these are (reennactors) of the Black Watch and the Irish Guards regiments (and probably some others.)

  • OUTSTANDING!

  • Fokkin A Lads ! ! !

  • You guys do a good job =)

  • Top Notch.
