  • At the end of White City Video.

  • Disco Pete!

  • Emma's friend is Justine from Elastica.

  • @ccksu91 Saw her Face Couldn't Place it Until Now!You Know yr Shite!

  • Can still sing well enough, should be doing solo shows instead boring Who shows

  • Pete just can't sing this way anymore. Bummer. Old days triple threat singer, songwriter, player.

  • I always had a fantasy that I married Emma and Pete became my father-in-law.........God, I need a life!

  • At the end of a Blondie concert in 1978,Clem destroyed his Drum Kit in memory of Keith Moon.

  • White City....AMAZING album! Yay for Pete! I want his Fender Telecaster!

  • Haha I was just gonna send you this!

  • There was a short film of White City that was released around the same time as the album. I have it on VHS. This is the bonus video at the end of that White City film.

  • Is taht Clem Burke on drums? I wish they could have picked Clem to replace Moon. Who's with me???

  • Great song, but the album version is completely different than this. I'd never heard this version before.

  • what album is this on?

  • It was a bonus track on White City. But it was on the version I downloaded, I don't know if it was on the actual CD.

  • I just learned this. I have that vhs since 85 and always loved this underated song. So I bought it on Itunes and the ablum version is sad. So I guess this version came with more time and development. The ablum version is sad and disorganized- this version= stellar.

  • @blorb1 What Album??

  • I think this album is damn good but why it failed to impress the critics is beyond comprehension. The album is far much a biography novel as the title says. Its my top fav album.

  • Wonder why Clem Burke was not considered for any of the Who`s post 1982 tours. He is a fantastic drummer.

  • I agree and I have asked the same question to myself-closest drummer to Moon. He had flair like Moon too.

  • very funky...

  • yeah!

  • I believe they are both his daughters Emma & Minta.

  • One of those girls is petes daughter emma, am i correct?

  • It is dated.

  • nope

  • So what if it is?

Not being dated isn't a guarantee of being any good.

Personally I'll take "dated" Pete Townshend over most any "new" artist, hands down.

  • Anyone know where else to find this version of the song?

The one on the "White City" remaster is a different version.

  • Love my petey!

  • Pete with his big nose...

    and big noise too !

    I'm really funny

  • Love this tune.Pete kills it !

  • and it also features Clem Burke(Blondie drummer and Keith Moon fan).

  • Yeah, PHIL CHEN! He was pumpin' on this tune!!! Good call!! but this tune was recorded in 1985! This was from the "WHTE CITY: A NOVEL" sessions. Pete is quite the "networker".

  • and dont forget.... the GREAT Phil Chen on Bass milkin' his line from Rod Stewarts " Do ya Think I'm Sexy". Disco Died in the 70's... Uh oh!
