  • Looks like somebody was just mucking about on Windows Movie Maker.

    Also; Comic Sans. Ugh...

  • Playstation. The best gaming console to date.

  • I want the music in this video so badly.

  • Much cheaper way to do PS1 development was a chipped deck and an AR cart with a Parallel port.

  • Comic. Sans.

  • @resseses Just record it from the video. It was made for the Net Yaroze ad only.

  • My big brother had a subscription to the PlayStation Magazine, I remember drooling over this video.

  • I wish I had the money to get one of these bad-boys. Problem is, even if I have the money, where the hell are all of these things anymore?

I never see them online. Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong places.

  • Never took off did it? At least I never knew anyone with any interest in them. Remember this promo very well.

  • Almost every University in the UK has a Net Yaroze, right til this day! They were marketed alot more to those learning programming then anyone else.

From what I understand aswell, the Net Yaroze community online was quite large back when it were sold.

  • PS Net Yaroze can work with today PC?

  • Depends if your PC's motherboard has the correct serial port input.

  • Net Yaroze was awesome! If I was old enough to afford that system when it was available - I would have totally snapped it up.

It was a rare multi-regional PlayStation, just one reason to own one!

  • I love thoes old skool games from the old ps1 demo disk

  • lol memories

  • Hahaha whoahhhh that music was great. Takes me back ;)

  • I never had one. I wish I did though. I loved Bouncer 2.

  • There should be a net yaroze for the PS3 that would be so cool, games like Rocks n gems 2, or hover racing 2 :)

  • Could technically do them for the PC.

You any good at programming? We could set up a development team! 8)

  • You sure?

I always assumed that specialist development kits (apart from Net Yaroze) have to be purchased from the console manufacture, at a great cost (and you have to be legally considered a company).
