  • which are the 5 disciplines in this video? I identify krav maga, tae kwon do, I think eskrima and kayukenbo, but which is the 5th? or am I wrong in all of them? could any of you tell me the name of the martial art of the guy dressed of white?

  • all i can say is FUCKING GAY!!!!!

  • 1:11 love how they didn't even touch

  • i guess in the situation where the attacker is also trained in KM, just trust that you are better and thats it! awesome vid!

  • The only problem I'd have with this is that it doesn't show you how to react to an attacker who is also trained in Krav Maga.

  • 1:11

    Sweet Chin Music! xD

  • That guy with the red and black dressing could make ten pieces out of Chuck Norris.

  • 99% of these things work only with your consenting partner...

  • Warum immer in die Eier ist doch scheisse

  • pathétique mise en scène, dans la réalité l'ennemi agit aussi

  • 0:31 very nice!!

  • i might do this right now i am doing Brizilian ju juitisu so fun

  • pretty cool...I am taking krav maga lessons now and you can tell which one it is...not just by the clothes

  • Nothing is more common place in the martial arts than spectactular responses against known, wet noodle attacks from compliant drinkers of the same koolaid.

  • that is so true.

  • ya, they should really just do it all at real time, full speed. specially the vital organ strikes! nothing like a punch in the throat or an eye gouge! just like bloodsport! wwjvdd! what would jean claud van damm do!

  • @bujuts Could not have put it better myself.

  • most of these guys are too funny to fight really...only the guy in black seems to show somw skills...others sucks deeply

  • Excellent vid. I see Richard Dioueb there, showing his Krav Maga - his trademark bouncy recoil makes me chuckle! 5* ('',)

  • What is the style of the first guy?(The one wearing cream coloured slacks & sweatshirt)

  • i think its savate

  • I believe it's Savate-Defense.

  • yeah a french version of krav maga, well some similarities. good and practical

  • yes u can a lot of martial arts are still used as proper defences

  • martial arts are nowadays sports, krav maga is personal defense; it's in a way completely different and you can't compare

  • That's true, however Krav Maga is also a lot newer martial art than the others. Also, Martial arts in and of themselves were not created to be sports, they were created initially for the same purpose, to effectively defend and protect one's self with more discipline than someone with no training at all.

  • Krav maga is not a martial art. It is build of martial arts moves same as MMA, but KM is simple, easy to learn and designed for real situations.

  • krav maga is not a martial art. it is a fighting method, not a sport

  • you are right, it is an army based streetfighting style

  • @bournefreak times have made people foolish, martial arts isn't a sport because it literally means arts relating to war combat

If an elite navy seal is bowing and throwing front kicks on the field he gets shot

Krav Maga and Ninpo Ninjitsu are martial arts as they are built for wars

Karate isn't because it isn't made for war and proven war effective

  • @bournefreak

that's what all martial arts are supposed to be, however they have been warped and dumbed down into 'sports'. probably 90% of traditional martial artists have no clue what they're doing, sadly. Krav maga is mostly karate, with several other martial arts mixed in. The difference is in the ARTISTS not the ART. all people who do krav maga are doing it for real life. most people who do martial arts are not.

  • @bournefreak ,martial arts aren't a sport, they are fighting methods. Krav maga is a martial art too, which means a fighting method, which means martial arts is not like playing tennis.....

  • @bournefreak finally... i just said that on another video

  • @bournefreak is martial art AND is not a sport. martial art is fighting method (with philosophy or not) ever. [sorry for my english, I'm from brazil]

  • Of course you can. Compare KM with any other system / style / martial art / whatever how it works in self defence.

  • Ok, according to the definition of martial arts, it is developed in an area of Orient. Jews are technically oriental since they are from the east. HOWEVER, for the sake of simplifying this discussion, we can both agree to the term "self-defense". But it is not MMA because the guy who made it up did not copy other forms, he used a practical yet efficient style to protect himself and train others to protect themselves. MMA is purely for competitive reason.

  • Yes i use form martial arts for every traditional fighting method that include some kind of philosophy, and most of them are originated in Asia. By the way most of martial arts have some sort of competitions. Krav maga is a fighting system. At least KM instructors are useing this form. And i don't think there are any competitions in military fighting systems like KM or combat 56.

  • KM same as MMA is made in the same way, by selection of usefull moves already known in some way in different systems/martial arts. Both KM and MMA are changeing and have many different variations. First KM made by Imi Lichtenfeld was combination of boxing, wrestling, and self defence techniques similar to japanese jiu jitsu. Of corse MMA is mainly a sport, and KM is mainly a self-defence for civilians and combat system for army / police / security.

  • What is the style of the first guy?(The one wearing cream coloured slacks & sweatshirt)

  • cos tae know do isnt martial art or self defence like others.

i recognize in that video some deadly efective styles like escrima, wing tsun, krav maga and kajukenbo

  • Tae kwondo is a martial art and sport. Depending on what you take from it, it can be effective. Now I will say against knife or gun you will need a better system like escrima or krav.
