  • Great awesome composition-

enjoyed this all the way through-

    perfect music

  • Wonderful song!

    Love the Roland JD-800

  • Excellent pour accompanier une séance de planetarium

  • good stuff. guy called paul vines has some good stuff

  • It's funny, I created also a song named 'An orange dream' with a wink to Tangerine Dream ;-) Appearantly you got the same idea! haha

You can check my account to listen to that track (it's part of a series of songs belonging to an album An orange dream, so not quite representative for the whole thing).

    Regards,

    Nick

  • Nice song, sequencer and sounds! Retro indeed! ;-)

    Gr. Nick

  • @PianoNick

    thank you

  • can you give me more dtailes avout roland jd 800?:D

  • I love that kind of melangolic synthesizer-sounds. Do you know any artists that make such songs? (Excep J.m. Jarrre)

  • Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Klaus Schulze...

  • @retrosound72 GNOUMUSY, Mannheim Steamroller

  • Can you possibye share that patch in sys-ex Retro ? I messenged you through youtube. Merci, Marais

  • Hi, I have no patch of this sound. I have make this sound only for this demo. sorry.

  • Nice sounds Retro. Our the breathy Fairlight Voices waves in the JD800 in stock Rom ? Or on a card ?

  • the fl voice wave is stored in the jd`s rom

  • Beautiful demo, not only sounds are sweet but the whole package is. I dream to own one of these old tools, such oldschool sequences can't be made with recent engines, almost tasteless for this use in my opinion. Maybe santa will read my letter ^^

  • :)

    thank you

Absolute agree with you. The real analog sound can you make only with vintage analog gear.

  • Yes i agree there they make lovely dreamy sounds i can lister to all day long :)

  • Hi the pads remind me oof my D50 but nicer:)

  • D50 and JD800 are my fav digital synths from Roland

    the perfect pad machines

  • JD 800 has some awesome pads

  • Awesome :-)

  • thx :)

  • As I said on part one, fantastic. You really should post a link to an MP3 for purchase. I for one would love to have this on my iPod.

  • thanks :)

on my MySpace page (link on the right) you can find the mp3 version

  • Love the JD-800. What an underrated synth.

Nice to hear the Fairlight "ahhh" sound too. Beautifully retro.

  • thank you :)

  • @zenmachinefilms Roland actually did a terrible job with the JD 800 because it lacks of midi sync, you can not sinchronize the LFOs via midi and the sliders does not trasnmit midi signal so you can not record their movements in a sequencer. The Korg Wavestation series came out the same year and had the same atmospheres and you were able to sync them with your drum machine or sequencer. Roland did a very bad job theer and the JD 800 got lost in time pretty quick.

  • Cool dude. That was refreshing.

  • thanks :)

  • Hey it seems we have the same musical gear taste! I have got a JD800 too!!!

  • Yes

the JD-800 is my fav digital synth.

  • i love the jd-800, selten sowas geiles gesehen und gehört ;-)

  • Ja, ich hab den auch ganz dolle lieb ;-)

Der klingt schon richtig gut. Mein liebster Teppichleger sozusagen.

  • so sehe ich das auch! gute arbeit, weitermachen ;-)

  • It's a real shame that the youtube compressor screws up the sound in all the videos.

    5 stars!

  • thx :)

  • Fun track and title!

FYI - I put a link to this up on Synthtopia.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • thanks for posting :)

  • gute Fortsetzung von Part 1!
