Ok, bought game, freezes on install on the second disc at around 32.5% driving me mad. Mark on disc so swapping tomorrow but I see others report similar probs during install.

Almost every famous jedi had a relationship of some kind. I think that those restrictions make sense in a war time, just imagine what would happen if a sith warrior killed you loved one. Rage and revenge are pretty much guaranteed. And who wouldn't be tempted by a dark side if it could grant you power to get that revenge ;)

Hi Mr. Snapwave, I am have some questions 1. What happened between episode 66 and 67? You seem to have skipped a lot of events. Last thing we saw Doc had just helped some IMP soldiers and you were going back to the base and hook up with him there. Quote: "Next episode we're going to meet up with Doc, I think. So that'll be the next epsidoe." 2. Is Arupton having a bit of a personality change? Where's dat white hat at? You force persuaded those troopers & won't rescue the jedi prisoner? What up?

@benisrood I only skip sidequests. I decided to do Kira's companion quest before continuing with the Balmorra story. And yes, Arputon is changing in some ways.

i think the no relationship has to do with what happen to anakin he went to the dark side so safe his wife.

@SonicBoar Thats not entirly true, your looking at it wrong, one of the main things leading him twords the dark side was when he had to abondon his mom. She was latter killed and he went Sith on their asses, not to mention they had to try and hide the relationship, if it was more open im sure precautions could have been made to protect Jedi's partners. We have seen that rejection and detachment from the Jedi led to nothing good in public opinion.

hey snap i agree with your idea of jedi relationships so i like to refer back to a coversation in KotOR with Jolee Bindo about love he says that love doesnt lead to the dark side but misgiuded passion does

@Snapwave ya but Revan went on to belive the same thing have you read the book: Revan. Its about what happens after KotOR its preety good and it has a connection to SW:TOR it says on how Revan belives love is a good thing

@RandomAcousticDude I agree that it is. Revan was also considered a rogue by both factions, though. The whole "love" issue is highly controversial to the Jedi and the Sith alike.

3 things tonight #1 Arputon was a bit premature #2 why would love be classed as leading to the dark side? love is the purest form of emotion which should help with light sided force lust on the other hand i can see been very dark which brings me to #3 GetDaved! there's a lusty captain who should be on the dark side haha

@Raidendrag #1 - You'll have to be more specific. #2 - The Jedi "logic" is that love is an attachment, which prevents Jedi from being completely impartial. Lust is a natural emotion that everyone feels. It's no more dark side than hunger.

@Raidendrag The jedi thought that distance provides clarity. If you love someone you might give their need perecedence. You would fear their lose and be angry at their hurts. the theory is if you don't care for anyone on a personal level you will be free to make unbias decisions. the the code say "there is no emotion there is peace" in practice the only thing distance provides is distance. some jedi promoted the idea of just abandoning the republic and devoting themselves to studying the force.

How does this compare to eve online. I played eve for 5 years before quiting a few years ago and that was probably the best game i have ever played. Extremely deep. Is there depth to this game, looks to be a lot of rinse and repeat.

Tried downloading this using the client download on website and said will not work on my OS and yet vista is apparently ok according to reqs??? Anyway, turns out you need a retail version with key and thus that download link on website is completely pointless.

@bluedragonis Once you have a key you can just plug that in and play. You do have to pay to play, though. As to EVE Online, I tried it out for a bit but was at a great disadvantage as I was not willing to put in enough time to get ahead in terms of economy etc. Depth is great, but TOR is more about telling a story.

blue gear isn't too hard to get. It is getting purple from blue that is nigh impossible.

Yes that chestpiece was made by me. I got some new schematics now. Nothing much though just some shirts and pants. Crafted gear will have the crafter's name on the bottom of it.Think I got a real good schematics but I need to lvl up my real lvl to make it for whatever reason.
