I am in love with Watts since 1997 (I was 17) when i first time saw the movie. And I've never stopped wathcing it. Watts is amazing. Mary Stuart Master is amazing and pretty in this movie, She is so beautiful. And Hysteria explains everything with its lyrics. I wish to meet someone in my life like Watts. From Barranquilla. Growing older has it's advantages. Mainly, experiencing more life. Thanks to my age, I also got the opportunity to see "Star Wars", "Grease", "Jaws" and "Smokey and The Bandit" in movie theaters. Believe me, if you think Jackie Gleason is funny when you watch Smokey and The Bandit on T.V., he was hilarious when watching that movie with a laughing audience in a movie theater.

I saw this movie when it was released in theaters back in 1987. It became my favorite movie and, after 23 years, it is still one of my favorite movies ever. At the time I was 19 and about six months out of high school. It is very good if you watch it on DVD/VHS/cable. However, it was best in a movie theater with a high school audience. The laughter was outrageous! The emotions were awesome.

Great choice! And great editing! I only wish Mary Stuart Masterson had got even more work during those years. At that age she had an absolutely supernatural elfin beauty that the pixie cut showed off to full advantage.

Though Emma Watson has a kinda similar quality these days.

@DarkWraith Do you know what? Maybe we had the same experience with this movie. When I was a young I watched this movie seventeen times. I was completely in love of Watts. I'm talking 1988-89. In my country it was very difficult to get the original soundtrack (nobody knew nothing about internet), so I searched for the most similar music to the soundtrack. So I found it and I decided: Def Leppard. That's the reason because your choice is amazing for me.

I was Watts, fell in love with my best friend we were together for 2 years, and friends for 7 years, then he moved back to Russia with his family, was some of the best years of my life, and I am glad I know what love is.
