Scientology will come through this negative press victorious . It is a religion that helps people in many different ways and should not be attacked in the courtrooms just the same as any other religion. Scientology is expanding - they are opening 3 new churches around the world in the next month - why would that happen if they werent expanding and people didnt want to be apart of this amazing religion??

Alex is being disingenuous about how she characterizes disconnection. She herself has talked to disconnected family members at protests against Scientology in Sydney.
Disconnection is a common practice within Scientology and is used with the purpose of cutting off a followers support network outside the cult and stopping communication with family and friends that are deemed to be antagonistic towards Scientology.
